    Hello, Tornizens!

Reviving is a fairly simple part of the game. However, a new reviver might still face some difficulties. When I was a new reviver myself, the first thing I did was check the Tutorials & Guides forum for a Reviving guide (It's a habit.) I was fairly disappointed when I didn't find any but I soon learned that reviving was a very easy thing to do. Here, in this thread, I will try and answer some important questions about reviving. I recommend you read this guide if you are a new reviver or if you want to start reviving.
    How can I start reviving?
So, to answer the most important question of all, How does a player unlock the revive option?. To revive you have to first join the Medical Starter Job. To do this you require 300 INT. However to reach the final position in the job it requires 10,000 INT, 2600 MAN and 4000 END. You can gain working stats by just joining the Medical Job and staying there for a few months but I recommend you, join a player owned company and buy a few trains to boost your working stats. This is much faster than gaining the stats through the medical job. Once you have the required Working Stats, you join the medical job by passing an interview. You can easily pass the interview using this guide which gives you all the correct answers to the questions asked. After you have joined the job you will get job points every day. Below is the job points required for each promotion. Getting to the topmost position will take you 30 days, 5 days for each promotion (Assuming you have the required stats). Be sure to remember to get yourself promoted when you have the required job points. Once you reach the final position, you will unlock the 'Revive someone for 75 energy (Passive)' job special. It is a passive ability meaning it will still be available to you even after you leave the medical job.

TLDR; Get 10k INT, 2.6k MAN and 4k END, join medical job, get promoted every 5 days for 30 days to reach the final position where you will unlock the passive ability.

Brain Surgeon2600100004000204025$7,0007 Revive someone for 75 energy (Passive)

Are there any disadvantages to reviving?

A few things to note, if you wish to make money from selling revives then please do know that it is a very energy intensive business. I don't recommend you to start reviving seriously unless you have good battle stats for your level. Reviving might make you a lot of money but it will be a bit problematic to your battle stats in the long run. Always keep that in mind.

Reviving is an ability that can be unlocked anytime during the game. So, I recommend you build your battle stats up a bit and get the ability once you have not bad battle stats.

At this point in the game, it might be hard to find people that need revives and are ready to pay for them. This is due to the increased no. of revivers currently in the game and also because many of them are willing to revive for free/cheap prices.
    Why should I start reviving?

    Money

Reviving makes you money. Quickly and efficiently. If you have good battle stats and you want to make some quick money then reviving is just the job for you. It requires less activity than trading yet makes you a good sum of money. This is the most prominent appeal for reviving.

A revive usually sells for a Xanax and sometimes 1m. People hospitalized overseas may offer 2m-3m

There are other reasons of course.

    Merits

There are 2 merits that can be earned directly from reviving.

    These are

    - Revive 500 players

    - Revive 1000 players

It also helps towards these merits

    - Attain 50 perks

    - Attain 100 perks

    - Attain 150 perks

    Useful Ability

Overall, reviving is a pretty useful ability to have at times. Whether you have found yourself a target with a bounty on them or if you need to attack someone in the hospital for a mission, it can be incredibly helpful so it is worth the 30 days in the medical job to get the ability even if you won't be using it frequently.
How can I improve my reviving business?

When you unlock the job special, you will find that a revive costs 75 energy. It is very hard to make a profit from this. The first step you should do after you get the reviving ability should be finding yourself a good reviving faction that enables you to do 25 energy revives. There are many benefits to joining a good revive faction other than allowing you to do a revive for 25 energy. These are:
    • Reputation - Make sure you join a famous, reputed reviving faction. Such factions are heavily relied on by many players and you might find people asking for revives from you because of your faction.
    • Contracts - Reviving factions often get hired by other factions or players. Try to do as much revives as possible during these contracts, some factions may pay well and above the normal price of reviving for contracts.
    • Scripts and other tricks to improve your reviving game - Surrounding yourself with people who know more about reviving and have been revivers for a long time will undoubtedly help as they will be ready to pass on nifty little tricks and tips to help improve your gameplay. Some factions also have fancy reviving scripts.
    Prominent Reviving factions.

Torn Medical - 25e revives, Owned by Nuclear, frequent contracts.

    HeLa - 25e revives

39th Street Healers - 25e revives, 39th family healing faction.

PT-IronHearts - 25e revives, PT family healing faction.

    Lawless - 35e revives

Emergency Room - 25e revives, Owned by Nuclear

Unrelenting Medical - 25e revives, Relentless aligned

Nuclear Clinic - 25e revives, Owned by Nuclear

As a member of the Nuclear family, I feel obliged to recommend you to join the Nuclear family. The orange factions listed above are all owned by Nuclear and these three factions together constitute Central Hospital. Central hospital has a massive army of 300 revivers that can be hired to work for you. Central Hospital is contracted by major factions for huge wars so if you want to do a large no. of revives in big wars that could last months, a Nuclear faction is the place to be.

The other way you can improve reviving is through scripts. The scripts I am going to be listing below are perfectly legal.
    DoctorN

Doc is one of the most popular scripts in the game and its popularity is well deserved as it packs a ton of features to improve our game-play and quality of life.

It has a few features that help us in reviving

    Chat highlight

Chat highlight is a very useful feature. In its default state, it only highlights your username however it can be customized to our liking. So, for example, if we want to spot people that need revives in Trade Chat then all we have to do is set up Doc to highlight the messages that have the word 'revive' in them as shown below. You can choose a color of your liking after that.

    StakeOuts

This is one of the best features of Doc. Stakeout allows you to keep watch on a player at all times. In its default state, it will tell us if the player is okay however we can change to it tell us the opposite. However, be warned that this requires the API and if you have too many targets then it might result in a temporary ban of your API.

    Faction Hospital

This script is really handy when you are in a contract with a faction. This will only show the players that are in the hospital so you can revive them quickly before your peers.

Where can I find Targets easily?

    Trade Chat

Finding targets that need revives can be tough at times. The Chat Highlighter trick will only be helpful if you have Trade chat open. Trade chat is where you will get most of your revives when you are not doing a revive contract, so be sure to keep Trade Chat open at all times. It will be very hard some days when there are no wars going on but it is possible with a bit of time and effort to get more than a few revives each day.

    Newspaper

Be sure to regularly contact the people that are listed in the bounties section of the Newspaper offering revives. They might want their bounties removed and will buy bulk revives. I suggest people with over 500k on their head.

    Discord Servers

One other place to look for revives would be discord servers. A few famous discord servers offer us the option to request revives from people. So, be sure to join the Discord servers. A few servers I know have the feature are listed below.

    -R3x-'s place of shenanigans

    Duckpond & Friends

Just join these servers and ask the server staff to add you as a reviver.

Now, this is not going to work every single time but if you revive people that have overdosed on Xanax then there is a good chance that some of them might send you 1m.

You can also try private messaging people in the hospital offering revives.

    Oversea Revives

People that are hospitalized overseas offer better prices for revives. You can get even 3-5m per revive overseas. However you can find yourself hospitalized overseas if you are not careful so be quick!! Some people might even give you Business Class Tickets for a revive overseas so it's well worth the risk if you can find people that need them.

    Precautions

Before reviving a person make sure you check their enemy list. If the person is a known scammer then he/she will have a few hundred enemies. Be wary of such people and ask for cash first before you revive them. If you are in a reviving faction then you might have a Google Spreadsheet of known revive scammers that you can view, so check people before you revive them. While reviving people that are overseas make sure they are not a known scammer as you can't send money from overseas and they might not send the money to you once you reach Torn.

That will be all for now. I will update the thread if I find any more tricks.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to read my guide and good luck with reviving!
