irivi's Guide to 200K+ Activity Stats in 7 Days

Thread created on 12:50:03 - 10/06/18 (8 years ago)|Last replied 08:30:03 - 07/03/20 (6 years ago)Hello Torn Residents And Dissidents!
I am new here to Torn in terms of "Age" and to many players in terms of everything. However, I have noticed a growing trend, and that is my User Activity Stats. Now perhaps this is not an important stat to you and if that is the case go ahead and hit that thumbs down and get the hell out! As for everyone else, pay attention. I have found that my User Activity Stat (UAS) is increasing to meet, and sometimes exceed players who appear to have far more activity than I do, i.e. Age, Level, Net Worth, etc. To be honest it's downright impressive, to be fair, so is your mom! *Gotcha!* I have decided to write this guide because I think it could help a good portion of the community - particularly new players and/or anyone with less than (that would be one of these symbols: ) 200K UAS - make some serious gains.
This guide is written assuming the player is Level 1 Age 0, but may benefit many others.
I think it is important to the community that those who know how to do things share with people who are willing to read forums.Plus like Grandpa always said, "If those who can't do, teach, then hang the teachers." ...or maybe I'm mixing some things up from The Smiths and the top of a cereal box.So let's get into it:
What you will need:
1. A PC/Laptop - Don't come on here thinking, "Yea, alright then, I'll just play on my telly and everything will be good, yea?" You should be playing with several tabs open, a notepad program, and a calculator.
2. Time - If you can't put 8+ hours a day into it you will never earn 200K UAS in 7 days
3. Patience - You may have heard, "A watched pot never boils." Well guess what, it does and it's fascinating.
4. Social Skills - If you go around pissing everyone off more than Duke, you will likely find this quite difficult.Steps
1. Complete all of George's Missions, this should not take you more than 3 hours, if it does, give up now.
2. Don't be an idiot, don't say, "Oh look, I can buy 5 piggy banks with my 5 mission points and stick $14 in each of them."
3. Energy Management - Use only the minimum energy necessary to complete missions, don't go searching the dump 40 times. Outside of using the required energy to complete George's Missions, put everything else into training, do so until you have a minimum of 100 stats in each gym stat. Don't go beating people up trying to hit level 15 in 7 days, you will get your ass kicked + you will be broke.
4. Nerve Management - Don't drink a bunch of beer and go trying to hack the FBI,stick to stealing chocolate(dangerous, jackets are a safe crime) and selling thriller/sci-fi dvds. The nerve bar will fill about 19 times a day (Assuming you've completed step one and have 15 nerve now) Try to use it at least 8 complete times(nerve bars)/day or more if possible. If you can't do at least 5 complete nerve bars/day, give up now.
5. Happy Management - Remember how on energy management I said use the minimum energy necessary to complete your mission? Well that holds true to using the minimum money too. I hope you rented a trailer with that $14 you didn't put into the piggy bank you didn't buy - to get out of your shack - rather than bought yourself an apartment or some kind of bologna! On your first day you won't need more than 100max happy on your bar. Further, completing step 6 should set you up with a decent house/amount of happy. Make sure to occasionally eat some candy while you train to max out/exceed max on your happy bar.
6. Get yourself a Faction - Find a faction that is willing to help you in terms of items, property, and cash. Apply to my Faction, if we have an opening you are in!
7. Get yourself a Company Job - Find a new company that is willing to pay you $5k+ a day even though you have 0 job stats
8. Trade your A$$ off - This is a requirement and will be where you spend the majority of your time, if you don't feel like buying 650+ items a day on the item market, give up now.
9. Chat it up on trade chat - Prices are outdated Take whatever money you have from George's missions and spend it buying bricks/lollies/beer/boxes of chocolate for <$500 ea, buy Big boxes of Chocolate for <$3500 ea, buy jackets for <$350 ea. This will take a lot of active searching on the Item Market and/or advertising in Trade Chat. Then turn around and try to sell those items on the Trade Chat. Alternatively you can sell them to me! Click here and I will buy those items for $500/$3500/$350 respectively. Remember whatever you do: buy low, sell high! Don't go buying stuff that you don't know the market for. Also go to Bits 'n' Bobs once a day and buy 100 bricks, they have the highest ROI. Most of your purchases will be on the Item Market, ALL OF YOUR SALES SHOULD BE TO OTHER PLAYERS IN TRADE! (unless you have a bazaar) You do want to make money right? If you can't grow your money efficiently from trading regularly, give up now. Trade chat is also where you will eventually find your Faction and new Job at a Company.Further Reading:6. HappinessThat ought to get you on your way to 200K UAS in your first 7 days!Best of Luck!-irivi

A castle is affordable with buying and selling items from the city, and makes a big impact on low stats. A private island is better, but may be out of the price range of new players. If you do that you'll want to use tissues if you can afford it or use candy to boost up your happy.

And what I'm trying to say is even a castle will be reachable if the truly exploit every facet of being a player for free. Selling 1 dp would work wonders for a new player for a cash base to train up and get a castle or pi ready... I would rather waste a few days of a castle rental than have 14 days of a pi rental given the cost difference. If money is no object though the unique properties are best though but that takes some seeious cash for not such a large gain.

Why people would want to have the highest User Activity, I'll never know, but if that's your thing go for it :)
For all city buying new players. My prices have increased for the last month before summer holliday starts.
I pay $700 for Lollipop / sheep / kitten / teddy / brick / roses / choco *IF you trade more then 500 of them at once! -

Once unquestioning obedience, once fully enslaved;
Once fully enslaved, no nation, state, city, of this earth, ever afterward resumes its liberty." - Source -
