The numbers shown should be self explanatory. If you want to use this, please just make a copy. I'm not sure if the formulas always carry over, but it's there, so really all you've got to do is type it back in if not. That main formula is really the only "difficult" part of making this, but I figured I'd share it anyway as I haven't seen it put up yet.
You can plug in your numbers for Gym Dots, Stat Value, Current Happy, Steadfast, Education Bonus, and Energy Used, and this sheet will provide you with approximate numbers for how much you should gain, including the error margin listed at https://www.torn.com/wiki/Fighting_Stats.
Some notes(which are also in the sheet):
1) Hank's Training Guide for Druggies; Premium Option #1 recommends 5 eDVDs, 3 xanax, 1 ecstasy, and 1 points energy refill
2) This results in 2500 each for 5 eDVDs, which is 12,500, multiplied by 2 with the ecstasy, for a grand total of 25,000 Happy, plus whatever you get from the property in which you're living.
3) Ideally you'd have 5025 base happy from a fully upgraded PI, but with that much happy, a PI is just bonus happy. That said, you'd still want to get into the best property you can reasonably afford.
4) Three xanax adds 750 energy; Starting your xanax stacking with a full energy bar puts you at 900 when you start your train, and the points energy refill bumps that up to a grand total of 1050 per session(one 900 point train, and one 150 point train)
5) Incidentally, there's a merit available for accumulating 1000 energy(the merit shows that this is "max" energy, so I'm assuming taking a fourth Xanax in an attempt to get there is probably a mistake). I'd guess you need to take some LSD to get there, but I haven't looked into it yet.
6) Total training cost is approximately: $16,795,000. <-- This number intentionally uses high cost estimates for procurement values, best case scenario is that your actual cost will be below this by a fair margin.Last edited by Winged_Cougar on 21:15:15 - 10/08/16 (10 years ago) -

If anyone can point me in the right direction as concerns fixing the Google Docs link to make it clickable, I'm all ears. I tried the common markups I've seen elsewhere to include and , and neither works.Got that working.Last edited by Winged_Cougar on 18:13:02 - 22/07/16 (10 years ago) -

I've noticed this outdated formula is very accurate for me so far(my stats are still pretty low in the grand scheme of things). I expected it to change at some point, but it hasn't yet. What was the old cap for Happy?

Has anyone looked into approximately where the break point is when real training breaks away from this formula? If I'm it, I'll continue to post my results here, for reference.I've not had time to keep this as updated as I would've liked. Suffice to say, I'm currently training one of my stats in the 100k range, and it looks to still be fairly accurate. The margin of error leaves a lot to be desired, but actual training still lands squarely within the predicted range.
I've removed the link to the spreadsheet, since it doesn't appear this has gotten much traction anyway, and I'm going to be using it for more specific comparisons. If anyone has any interest in it, let me know, and I can share it out again.Last edited by Winged_Cougar on 22:21:24 - 10/08/16 (10 years ago) -
