i've just noticed today that items picked up in the city no longer reappear.  Did Devs get around to fixing it or have i just been lucky?

If it was fixed I just wanted to say thanks and nice work by the Devs. Keep up the good work and thanks for keeping TC running smooth(ish)!

Don't check hourly. You could check monthly if you wanted to - they stick around forever just waiting to be found. Checking hourly, daily or monthly makes no difference. You'll find the same amount of items.

as far as I can tell, it mostly depended on how fast you moved after claiming the item. If you picked it up and waited several seconds before moving, you wouldn't see a duplicate. So they probably just made the server refresh rate faster.

So to clarify, it doesn't rely on clicking on the city to generate items?

But how does this work ?

What determines how many items we find and what determines their value ?

I would imagine Awareness has much to do with it. As well as a fair bit of luck.
