Clicking pluses and minuses are no fun. Clicking numbers are no fun. Sliders, however, very fun!
Adds a draggable bet slider to the Torn poker UI for faster, more precise betting.
Features• Smooth range slider between the bet panel and action buttons
• Clamps to valid min/max — no accidental overbets or underbetsBug reports, feedback, and suggestions are always welcome — drop a comment or message me in-game.

Update 1.2
New
-
Slider upgrade
New smoother betting curve (Usually stacks are much larger than BB and the usual bets and raises. So the first part of the slider is 'slower' to be able to do more precise bets for the normal bets. Normalize at the 60% and up) -
Coach marker showing recommended bet size
This is only if you have my Poker HUD and Coach script installed. Whenever coach advises the amount to bet, it now shows up on the actual slider as well.

HopesG,
I love this slider so far, but there are a few bugs with it that I think could be ironed out with time.
Preface
Laying out the foundation, I found it interesting and slightly frustrating that the actual vanilla Torn visible money input isn't always a strong source of truth. It doesn't seem to validate user input (like I can set a $1 min bet) and instead let's the user perform the action and spits out an error message. Feels like such an awful and dated mechanic.
This is not your fault.
Why it sucks, is that it probably means you can't reliably bind on it as the valid min/mix as God intended, forcing you to cache values or make your own calculations.
Feedback
The slider, in itself, is well designed. I failed calculus twice despite being a software engineer, but I bet there is some fancy words to describe how it is "non-linear" with respect to the min and max values. You likely know what I'm talking about, so I'll stop embarrassing myself by trying to explain it!
What I do know fairly confidently is UX. Perhaps one could sprinkle in the "principle of least astonishment", but one thing that sticks out to me is that the Torn money input field, your slider input field, and the slider itself aren't very well coupled.
Now, I do respect that the update to the Torn money field is a "mouse-up" action, since your input field updates with the slider (having it do both fields would seem a little redundant), but when the person ahead of you raises or changes the minimum value, it would be nice to see the slider (and its field) update respectively.
It feels like it may be a caching / stale data problem. the slider can become out of sync, and since the vanilla text field doesn't validate user input, it doesn't really do you any favors either. But the vanilla field does update the new minimum bet. Is there any way we could sync to that?
---
This is getting a little long-winded, and I am just chucking out what I've experienced and not what is observed from the source code. I'm not particularly versed in JavaScript, but perhaps my limited knowledge of TypeScript / React might guide my path as I try and reason about it. I think I'll dedicate tomorrow evening to understanding what you've implemented and it can teach me something new!
As always, thanks so much for these awesome scripts. They look great and functionally carry out what they're designed to do. You most certainly know what you're doing.
Best,
SoftStroker

Hey SoftStroker, good catch.
You were right that there were a couple of issues there, and I found the cause of both. The part where it only updates when you release the mouse is intentional though, so it does not keep hammering Torn while you drag.I’ll get the other two fixed. Thanks for taking the time to dig into it.

HopesG,
You’re awesome! I do agree that is a nice touch to only update the Torn field when necessary. I think the addition of an additional text field to give slider feedback instead is really sharp.
That approach is far less clunky than having to guess-and-wait for the Torn field.
Looking forward to future developments!
Best,
