Since the last few days, I watched trainer effectiveness both total and individuals.

I also collect some data from other companies and my conclusion so far is:

10 Effectiveness generates 0.1 train and will be rounded to closest number

    for example:

49 Effectiveness generates 0 train, while 50 Effectiveness generates 1 train

80 Effectiveness generates 1 train, while 140 Effectiveness also generates 1 train.

I was able to collect data below:

    27fd0c37-41c5-4c46-8fd2-a274ee735435-2856659.png

As per data above, we can see that:

    • total 6 trainers with total effectiveness of 840 and they all generates 8 trains (rounded from 8.4),
    • total 6 trainers with total effectiveness of 850 and they all generates 9 trains (rounded from 8.5),
    • total 2 trainers with total effectiveness of 219 and they all generates 2 trains (rounded from 2.19)
    • and so on, see table above.

I also got data from my friend from other companies and got 1150 total effectiveness generates 12 train, 949 total generates 9 trains, but that before we realized this theory and was undocumented.

It will be helpful for my data if you could help to provide data to make it more accurate and strengthen my theory that 10 eff = 0.1 train.

    All I need is:

    • Company Type (may be irrelevant, but more information won't hurt)
    • Company Star
    • Train generated per day (both before and after minus train from star)
    • Total Trainer
    • Effectiveness, both Individual and total.

Will update later after I collect more data.

Also special thanks to Mitsui [939429] and JeffBezas [3408347] for all discussion and data collection. They both are great guy.

    Updates:

    Update 1

Max 3 trainers allowed in psf company?

    https://wiki.torn.com/wiki/Company

Trainer     Gives up to 3 extra trains   (it seems  one independence trainer ,not total maxiumn limit.)

I got some useful data to share then in a few hours.

And while add one more trainer which named Defense Consultant [ DC ] in psf

Every time. You lost 1.5 to 2mil at least.

One train valued at 400k to 600k only.

    normal mode: 36 to 37mil

    3 DC mode: 29 to 31.5mil   (+4 trains)

So only use at emp appreciation day.

Some old players have done on research this.

I've always heard 100 efficiency for 1 train, 150 efficiency for 2 trains and 200 efficiency for 3 trains, which sounds about right but I never tested it.

    --

allowed or not is depend on how you want your company.

value of train and company sales is irrelevant for this matter. that's for another topics.

I made this post so director can decide if they can expect on how many train they want to get and how many trainer they want to use.

So, for example, if you have 70 effectiveness, you only have 1 train, but if you have 2 trainer both with 70 eff, you still get 1 extra train (eff is 140)

in this case, 1 trainer is enough, and let the other trainer to make company income.

So in order to get 2 extra train, you have to add someone with 80+ eff to get 2 extra train (eff is 70 and 80 = 150 eff).

With that in mind, you can do some calculation whether you use 2 trainer and get 1 train or change the other guy and still get 1 train

I was wondering about this a month ago , thanks for the info 👍. Not much on wiki , I reached out to one of the company owners and they said they rarely got 3 trains out of any employee , maybe once or twice but the person had to be near 200 effectiveness.

Looks like good info. What's interesting about it is that individual effectiveness and Total effectiveness counts towards enhancing the trainer position ( number of trains generated )

I wonder if this works in a similar way regarding other positions in a company e.g the team lead position in a psf ( putting more employees to raise the effectiveness of the position ). Remains to be seen but good work.

With this data, now I believe 150 effectiveness give 2 trains, you need to add 1 more trainer with at least 100 eff at very minimum to get 3 trains. If you only add another trainer with 99 eff, you only get 2 trains

    in a psf company.

if you had added up another teamleader.

at first their income will reduce by 20% at least

and the second team leader has nearly no effect.  and they followed the maximum +30 bonus 's rules.

    at some low-rank psf companies.

use 2 of cheap team leader will be a Possible ways (like 1mil daily wage each instead of 1 standard team leader with 5mil daily wage.)

new data, which also strengthen my point that 10 effectiveness is 0.1 train.

thanks to cecil7723 [2867547] for helping with the data

    as the new data above,

I used 5 trainers with 567 effectiveness, which gave 6 extra train

cecil7723 used 3 trainers with 3 339 effectiveness, which gave 3 extra trains

I can confirm it works as you guessing it does. The total effectiveness of all trainers combined is all that matters, what single trainers got is not relevant. So it's not actually complicated at all.

    50 total EE = 1 train

    150 total EE = 2 trains

    250 total EE = 3 trains

    ..and so on

Someone sent me the link to this, and I really appreciate it.

Its frustrating to no end how simple this turned out to be.

But given that this is the conclusion, then that would mean anyone who was claiming that 3 trains from a single Trainer was possible with high enough work stats - is just flat out wrong.

there's a probability that someone used 1 trainer only got 1 train, but when they used 2 trainer, they got 4 instead. so based on that, they assume that additional trainer gave 3 trains. but I'm guessing they using an extremely high stats for that

    the possible example:

    1st trainer have 140 eff

    2nd trainer have 210 eff

so the total eff will be 350, that will give 4 trains

been running a trainer at 55 effectiveness for the last 3 days. the first 2 days i did get an extra train like expected, however today i got none. does it mean trainer doesnt guarantee to generate extra trains even at appropriate effectiveness?

possibly today your trainer eff got lower than 50.

as my data shown above, above 50 give 1 train, but below 49 give 0 train.

No they still have 50+ eff, but my assumption might've been wrong because that was the day I ranked up (apparently new star doesn't give train point immediately upon ranking up (?), so I must've overcounted the potential train points to be received). I'm still new to this stuff

    probably that's the case.

star up is not giving another train at that time.
