Using data gathered from TornW3B, I have spent the past few months working on bringing pricelists to my platform in a way that I've always envisioned trades should work across the game. Below I've broken down the most important details in what is a massive update to the website, and the script meant to work alongside it.

As time goes on I will be expanding heavily upon this and taking feedback from the community to craft a truly perfect system, but as it is right now, it is feature-complete, finally (at least this part is..there's one more thing that will be coming another few months down the line...I can't help myself)

First, quite simply...

Pricelists

You can now configure your own pricelist on the site. If you are logged in, clicking your name in the top right (or in the bottom nav if on mobile) will expand a menu. Clicking "Manage Pricelist" will bring you to your own page to configure various options to your liking.

On the "Items" tab you can:

• Set a bulk price for all items at once or by an entire category
• Set a price based on a % of market value, a fixed price, or a definite margin from market value
• Have the system round your price to a specific decimal place (10s, 100s, 1000s, etc)
• Price any point-based items (flowers, plushies, artifacts) based on their relative point value instead of market value
• Enable "Inflation Protection" which if enabled, will consider both that items historical market value over the past 7 days and the latest bazaar snapshots to help prevent you from overpaying on items that are fluctuating rapidly in price

On the "Properties" tab you can:

• Set the price you'd pay for a property at base happiness, or max happiness
• Get a quick overview of all the properties and their base prices and various happy levels

On the "Services" tab you can:

• Set a price you'll accept for any given service
• Create a custom service by scrolling to the bottom of the services and filling out the necessary fields

On the "Settings" tab you can:

• Get a quick overview of all your trading stats (Number of trades in the selected timeframe, how much money you've paid out, estimated profit)
• View a full history of all your receipts and their relevant details
• Add, remove, and manage announcements that will show at the top of your pricelist

If you click "My Pricelist", it will bring you to view your own Pricelist. This will only be a valid link if you have any items priced.

This page will simply display everything you've configured on the manage page in an intuitive interface, enable users to upvote/downvote your pricelist and leave reviews, and show relevant stats to your activity.

Obviously, users will be able to click through the tabs to find what you pay for items and properties, and what services you offer and your prices.

Search Deals

It's worth noting this page is still heavily a WIP while I figure out how exactly it will be used and polish the UI.

For now it is accessed simply by clicking the Explore button in your header or bottom nav. As you type in the item name field, it will automatically search across all items, properties, and services available on the platform so you don't have to remember their exact name. Examples below.

Once you've chosen an item, it will show you a list of everyone that has generated a receipt in the past 30 days along with some basic stats about them (their last trade relative time, rating, and links to their pricelist or trade page)

I have also added the various new API's related to Pricelists to my API docs for any users who wish to create their own scripts to work alongside these services. Using these, you can pull any individual users' full pricelist, generate a receipt (or update a receipt) for a list of items, or update your own pricelist via API if you have your own pricing formula you want to use in conjunction with TornW3B.

(in order to update your pricelist, you need to provide the same API key with which you've registered on W3B with. This is only for verification purposes to make sure no one else can update your pricelist, and the request does not make any extra API calls using the submitted key)

TornW3B Companion

The script that takes Torn's own trade page and makes a few small, but significant changes that take your trading to the next level. I've been using this very script for over a year now, albeit it's seen many different iterations over that time.

Among the changes are...

• The "new trade" interface is now collapsed by default on page load, leaving room for you to see all your active trades (clicking the bar will expand/collapse it)

• On the trade page, each trade will have its most recent status appended next to the description. No more having to manage 10 extra tabs for all those trades waiting for one to add money, or wait for someone to chat that they added items, properties, etc. This will notify you of the trades latest status every step of the way (requires a FULL ACCESS API key from Torn to work. This key never leaves your browser and is never used to make a call to anywhere but Torn). A smaller, simpler version of this works without your API key but is probably broken to hell at this point.

• Color-codes items in the trades. Now items that contribute heavily towards the total buy price of the trade will be highlighted green, and items that barely effect the total buy price will be colored a darker red with yellow in the middle. Easier to spot those scam items when there's hundreds of items to scroll through in a trade!

• Simplifies the trading process. Across the top of your screen are a series of buttons on each page. These work to speed through the trading process without ever moving your cursor/finger (with safeguards to prevent you from accepting a trade where someone removed the item right after you added money, or prevent you from entering the wrong dollar amount and accidentally accepting)

Examples of what the trade will show if the dollar amount in the trade doesn't match your receipt exactly:

It's worth noting too that the calculate trade (generating the receipt) is done automatically, but the button remains for instances where the scripts fails to correctly detect a change and make the call on its own. And when going to the "Add money" page, the input field will automatically be filled with the total value based off your receipt.

While you are simply sitting on the trade page and have your API key added, trade rows will also be added or removed to the page by themselves, saving you the need to bother with refreshing your page ever again!

Nothing here automates any actions on Torn and one click is only ever one action on the page that you are currently viewing.
