Currently a work in progress, but it seems cool and wanted to share it.

It allows you to set custom backgrounds for torn as shown in the pictures below.

Looking for feedback.

If you find any issues, please either post them here or send me a message, and I will try to fix them as soon as I can.

you can update the images by going to this link: https://www.torn.com/config

Upload the image or pase the url and hit update!

alternatively:

you can upload the image to your profile images, edit/crop it as u need and paste the link in the URL.

This makes me think of what UserBG did for Discord (except that was more "each person pics this profile BG, you can see what they picked")

It's nowhere near that, but seems like a cool project.

Maybe add some config options?

Things like allowing users to have the image stretch to fit the screen, have it centered, stuff like that

well idk if you got this as feed back but works while traveling lol, goes to an error 404 page for like 2 seconds but works

seems like changing the "change background" to false in config solves the issue.

Edit: I have no intention to offend the developer of this script. I just stated that doing the setting above makes the crime interface render properly (at least for me). I love the script, and I regret not saying thank you to the developer earlier before making this comment, so thank you very much for the script, and I wish all the best for you.

How do I configure for mobile? Anything I put on there photo or gif doesn’t properly show, no matter if I chose cover or contain.
