Favorite thing about the people of Torn?

    I’m a new player, so I was intimidated when I heard how mean the community was but I was super mistaken to believe that there wasn’t any good here. I’ve made great friends with a handful of high level players and have had friends around my level the entire time I’ve played. I fully expected the usual treatment that you get on the internet whenever people realize they’re anonymous here, but actually I’ve had an amazing time playing and interacting with this community.

    My personal favorite thing is definitely that there are so many experienced players willing to help with anything and they’re willing to give any advice or point to a forum post or wiki link that I just couldn’t find no matter how hard I searched. There’s always a goal to reach in this game, and there’s plenty of people and guides that can give you some good advice and tell you how to put your best foot forward.



    I really hope that everyone here has an amazing month, and for those who celebrate I hope you have a good Christmas and I hope that everyone makes a good amount of money during the Christmas event and is able to make some huge progress off of that money.

    Anyways, go ahead and tell. What’s your favorite thing about the people of Torn?

    I like being part of a faction, it gives a really nice feeling of accomplishment whenever I help my faction grow

    My favourite thing about the people of Torn is that, statistically, they are more likely to have a 3rd nipple compared to the general population.

    A lot of new people don't realise that, while we are a bunch of hardened, mean, nasty, grumpy, slobbering beasts, generally the natives don't get stirred up unless a new player jumps into GD and starts being an absolute dick.

    The only thing that a lot of Torn players don't have is patience, myself included. There are some f**king great people playing this game and they will treat you as you treat them.

    What I most love about Torn is that most people have an absolutely cracking sense of humour.

    I can't stand the hypersensitive people tho. Met someone who complained about my recruitment message. He said it might make people feel bad.

    I have learned cognitive functions. I learned those people are using Fe as their functions. That's my blindspot therefore I just block or ghost them. One bad experience is enough for me to know everything about them.

    In fact lately I do not want to hang out with bunch of feeler types anymore. I don't want to walk on eggshells for the rest of my life just for Torn. I don't want to feel bad about myself even when I have done nothing wrong. I want deep friendship and I know bunch of feelers want same thing. But those people simply aren't compatible with me.
    Buy rate: 94%-96% depending the day, cache types, and market trend! Same rate for any rank. Always buy always sell caches unless I sleep.

    Who cares? If they get offended by it, they simply are not the people I want to hang out with. This stuff works both ways, you know.

    You think it's just for torn? One feeler likes how I do stuff in torn so much he offered me to do bizz together irl.

    And I know for fact together we can easily make hundreds of millions. I still won't do it because only matter of time he will get offended by me and the business will fall apart lol.

    If for real life money I won't do it, you can bet I won't do it in torn either.

    You know, in the end we have to accept our warts and all and just hang out with same "species"

    My favorite thing about torn is when men on it think they can use big words to intimidate me because I'm very sad and stupid and if someone bounties me I cry.
