Less than four months to go.  Gather your supplies.  Secure your job.  Pull that book off the book shelf.  Get that loadout ready.  

Any recommendations how to approach this type of event as a full on rookie? 

Stacking cans, FHC, etc is kind of a no-go as we (rookies) still are trying to build up our networth. Just purely xanax is probably doable though. With that in mind, should the progression through the upgrades be different with this in mind?

 Having some treats upgrade to an eDVD looks like a huge network income boost.

Basically the more energy you can spend the better.  So even if you can just run a handful of 5 e cans a day it is worth it.  Remember Christmas town is a month after so you will make some bank then.

Get tier 1 done and then cat in hell then save for shadow of a doubt.  There is no other reasonable way to do it.  You are banking for 2025.

It is tough to weigh tho.....some factions may be offering spots for proven chainers and providing cans.  But at your age may tough to get an invitation.

If you can get into a candle shop tho.  7 star perk gives up to 500e a day.  Well worth it to spend the next four months in a 7 star to get as many points as possible.

Yeah that makes sense. One thing that wasn't really clear until I read the 4th guide on this is that your basket also transfers to the next year.

I read that the treats got transferred but assumed the basket was reset every year! In that case I'll look at probably doing the pure xanax setup and indeed combining that with my job points!

Ok, so 3 months until halloween 2024 is over.  If you haven't yet, please consider an energy job.  It makes it more fun and easier to time the use of FHCs.

This really needs to be on your radar and if you just started even more so.  It is not too late to put yourself in the best position for success.

Time is ticking.  Just over a month away.  Changes may or may not be coming.

This is the most accessible and equitable event in torn.  The importance of this cannot be overstated.  Simply speaking, there is very little way to buy treats (with revitalize weapon being the primary way rich people can get more out of the event).

As such the younger you are and the poorer you are the more important it is to your player for you to spend the next month grinding the plushies and scraping together your pennies so that you can fund the extra energy needed to get the most out of it.

Some asked me if FHC are still worth it.

When this event started in 2020, FHC were definitely worth it.  In 2020 I was new to the game and just updated my basket.  I received 506 treats and did 66 attacks a day.  I made it through the first 7 upgrades.  I did accidently exchange 5 treats that year.

In 2021,  year 2 for me, I had the FHC book.  I cracked that sucker open.  Working in a candle shop and using the newsletter for extra energy along with MCS,  I managed to get 3,522 treats.  I finished shadow of a doubt, dark power, freebie, cashback, multipack and deal with the devil, that cost me 2135 treats (but remember DWTD gives you back 1,100)  I exchanged 1610 treats.   Torn reports has me making 1.2B.

In 2022, year 3, I had the can book in a restaurant.  I collected 3,620 treats.  I upgraded Candy man, sweet release, bloody mary, Nice Chianti, nightcrawler, its alive, and cold sweat.  I exchanged 3,236 treats  for a total of 3B.  A big boost for from the bigger energy drinks this year.

In 2023, year 4, I did the can book again. i did not upgrade anything.  I collected 4,126 treats.   Total value of 3.5b.  That was with casino pass at a value of about 15.5m.

I don't know if FHC are worth it.  Running FHC for the week is 576M (16X4X9).  That gives you an additional 215 Hits.  Torn report says I got 1.8m per hit last year in treat values so 387m.  I am not sure but I think that includes dark power/cash back et al.  So a bit short perhaps.  But of all the things in torn to burn money on, it has to rank up pretty high.
