    For anyone who hasnt read any of the rules in torn, i can tell you they're actually not all dumb at all and are, for the most part there to help the general state of the game. That being said I couldn't help but take to the forums to voice myself over one specific rule.

    Pornographic, sexually explicit or graphically violent material generally deemed unsuitable for minors in imagery or depicted in text. This includes bypassing filters with offensive language.

    now for those who can read will instantly know what the rule is, for those who can't how'd you get this far? I digress,
    You may struggle to understand, so here's a terribly executed break down,

    "Pornographic, sexually explicit or graphically violent material generally deemed unsuitable for minors in imagery" <--- what does that mean? It means any nipple, blood/gore, peen, balls or ass isn't allowed right? Welllll YES, anything sexually explicit in not allowed according to the rules themselves, that would include anything that is not "PG"/"suitable for kids/minors"

    Yep you heard it here first, the girl sucking bananas and getting squirted on the face with white liquid clearly trying to be as sexually explicit as possible without showing her **** is breaking the rules, any man you see with a woman in their picture and that woman is wearing sexually explicit lingerie is straight up just breaking the rules and getting away with it because none of this is minor friendly,

    So my question to anyone and everyone is does this bother you knowing that 1 of torn few rules is broken over and over again without any repercussion at all? (Imagine if it was irl money trading? Or multiying? Now I'm not saying that breaking these rules are the same morley because some are obviously worst then others)

    All that being said if the rules are being broken and staff are not interested about it why is it still a rule?

    TLDR: people break the sexually explicit rule 24/7 and its okay?

    It seems to me that it all comes down to interpretation. What you consider sexual explicit doesn't mean it is to me as well. I personally don't consider, for instance, a general image of a woman in lingerie or a man in underwear sexually explicit persé. It can be, but it depends on the composition of the image. Again, interpretation.

    I've reported plenty of profiles with images that takes things too far and have seen the imagesbe removed. They do enforce things that go too far, your definition of too far is just not where staff's is.

    the rule doesn't say PG, Torn's rating is the equivalent of PG13, meaning suggestive but non-explicit content is generally considered ok. It's also worth noting that the idea of something being suggestive is pretty heavily subjective, so even if you think something crosses a line and submit a report of the content detailing your reasons for believing so, if staff disagrees and believes that it falls under what is acceptable for Torn's rating then that's their decision to make.

    Side note, PG, PG-13 and the like are not ratings that apply to games unless things operate differently in england (I don't typically pay too much attention to foreign laws, someone more familiar please correct me if I'm wrong on this). Here in North America games are rated according to the esrb, and Torn would be rated T for Teen if it were made to get an esrb rating. This rating is the same reason certain words have to be censored.

    Sexually suggestive us not pornographic. Your brain is pornographic. You are the one assuming white goo shot in the face is sexually explicit. Is it in bad taste and the lowest form of comedy? Perhaps… perhaps not. It’s not breaking any rules.
