    Cheap 6 BFS 3 case rig

    With all education and 50% overclocking

    MIPS: 2,075,000 from rig
    Brute forcing strength: 6.0005

    Rig Uses: 11

    ECPU7
    CPU45
    HCPU0
    Fan1
    Water Block8
    Heat Sink0
    PSU7


    Cost:
    eCPU ($600) x 6 = $3,600
    CPU ($100) x 45 = $4,500
    Fan ($20) x 1 = $20
    Water Block ($200,000) x 8 = $1,600,000
    PSU ($5,000) x 7 = $35,000

    Total: $1,643,120

    So 6 BFS and 11 uses for less than the price of 1 HPCPU.

    I'd like some advice in my rig https://i.imgur.com/e5soV1K.png. also how do you add multiple of different items it seemed like it did it in its own when it got too hot

    you’re only rate limited in middle chassis so you could probably update that somehow hmm

    This is the best setup I have found so far, but requires the educations to be completed.

    Have a look through the forum pages and find a build that suits your needs. The theory crafting has already been done, so take advantage of that - unless you want to do it on your own, which is cool.

    In fact OP has added a bunch of links on his thread post with some really good examples to save you searching

    The rig I originally posted actually gives slightly better performance with 6.04 BFS as below.


    You can swap out the 3 middle CPUs for eCPUs for a slight reduction of BFS (still above 6) and over 20 uses before overheating.

    This 3rd rig will bump the number of uses up to 23 before overheating

    Mine is very smiliar to yours, just less strength at 5.88 however it may run a bit cooler. I run out of nerve before heating is an issue; around single digits after 15 attempts. Might try to swap out the middle waterblock and run like your first and third rig to get closer to 6.0.

    Hello everyone, I just unlocked second rig at level 50. Without any of the edus, is there any good rig layout? I can borrow hpcpu from my friend, I just don't know what should I do, I don't mind low heat with few use before overheat as I can wait it out to use nerve efficiently

    If you're going to drop a ton of nerve on that to try to clear it all you likely want to go full 0 heat. In that case and if part prices are no problem, something like this should work: Simulator Link

    Glad it's not just me that get's extremely bothered by it. Especially since there's been tons of posts where someone posts a rig with no HPCPU's that pulls a 6 BFS and is extremely cost efficient. It's not the best, but damn, if people would read 2 or 3 pages of this thread, at random, they'd find an economy 6 BFS or two for sure.

    It just makes me shake my head in sadness. So many creative setups just going to waste.

    Thanks for reposting, this layout lets me get the same MIPS from left and right rigs while eliminating all heat buildup, so I can run cooler PSU block.

    Here's my revised version, the best low heat rig rn, 24 uses (168 Nerve) for max efficiency (you can extend that by swapping in fans when you don't need to try for 7 characters)

    Should be cool enough to get thru nerve bar + refill without overheating.

    It seems calculator has wrong formula for strength, the rest looks right. link

    There is a slightly better version if you shift PSUs around for 27 uses before overheating. Simulator link
