Very cool. Nice for the 0 heat goals, but 2m seems terrible for 3 rigs.

Here's the most MIPS I've been able to squeeze out of one rig at 50% OC with lower heat (~1.5% per click).

You can swap out an eCPU with a CPU for a little more heat (6% per click) if you don't have much nerve to use in a run.

Might not be able to compete with multiple rigs once those are fleshed out, but time will tell!

    -Pre Heat Patch

Yeah, perfomance running cold was the goal. I decided to play around and see if I could make anything performance wise, but I tripped down the stairs and accidentaly made something both stronger and colder somehow, which also gave me an Idea for a potential script reliant build based on switching rig locations. (Assuming someone could make one legally).

This'll likely be my last build post in this thread.

    1. Improved Cold Build - Improved even more by Tuxington

Edit- I have a better design now but I'll leave this alone incase a future update makes this cooling setup relevant somehow.

    2. All available energy without a red component.

    3. Cold Script Concept.
The idea here is that someone cares enough to do so they could use a script to cycle the rigs around after every BF as the cooling from the chip boards completely remove the heat from the PSU board after 2 BFs and the heat from the CPU's in the middle of the chip board get cancelled out by the PSU board after 1 BF.

A simpler way of putting it is:

    Hack #1: CPC
    Hack #2: CCP
    Hack #3: PCC

Again big thanks to Bug and his Heat Tool!

TBH I'm surprised no one has tried running it through AI, these are the types of problems that are hard for humans fiddling around but should be much easier for AI. So finding best 1 click build, best 0 heat build, and best build with <10%, 20% etc. heat should theoretically be something we could put to an AI.

    I have my newest “builds”

    150 OC and 2 rigs

    Rig one power

the middle water block I switch for a HPCPU and can run that twice before Switching to this one with the water block to cool it

    rig2 MIPS

just as is, doesn’t ever heat up, you could switch out the water blocks for HPCPUs on the heating phases, but then you run into a power issue, and I don’t have the brute force attempts to figure it out today

The one I use - MIPS: 515.000, 1% heat per click, no education, built with shoplifted components.

You can swap the top and bottom eCPU with CPU and put one eCPU on the left, you will get 520.000 MIPS and 2-3% heat which should be more than enough for 2 nerve bars + beer.

Don't have second rig yet, so can't run any tests on these yet, but I believe this setup is absolute maximum that is sustainable for more than one run. @150% overclock power would be 8235/8250 & 2796750 MIPS Edit: heat calculations done with 100% power, not sure how much OC raises it If my calculations are correct this PSU rig should produce 12%heat on hottest parts, so it should be good for 8 runs. And 2 of these HPCPU rigs Hottest part would be 16,5 after first run, so 6 runs? Or 5 if it gets rounded to 17 (without OC) Here's supposedly a 0 heat PSU rig layout for slightly less MIPS if someone makes HPCPU rig that can handle more than 8 consecutive runs. (Could also do a middleground with 1 fan and 2 eCPUs if needed)
Got the heat numbers thx to Bugs awesome calculator.

3 uses out of this rig

Here's with slightly lower mips, but u get (maybe) 4 uses out of it depends on how game rounds these numbers
Could swap cpus with ecpus to get highest component down to 24.5, propably still gonna be rounded up :D

So I'm not working on cracking yet and I'm looking at the page like a lost puppy, not having a f**king clue what I'm even looking at... I'm leaving now

This will propably be my daily driver until I unlock third rig only 3% heat per use

After 8 uses hottest components at 28% so it's a bit more than 3%, should still last for about 27 Brute Forces = 189 nerve

Edit: First low heat triple rig draft, should get 12 uses beforeoverheat

Is there a new link to Bug's calculator which does multiple rigs/overclocking? I use the one from Emforus' post on the previous page and it only has one and no overclocking (and has coding showing up on most of the page). Or am I doing something wrong using it?

I do plan on adding that to the guide since it's such a great resource for people playing with their rigs to avoid spending nerve on testing. Besides the weird kinks with rounding, it's exceedingly accurate and so far most of everything I've tested lines up with what's shown on the simulator, with the things that didn't line up being corrected promptly.

Thanks to all the hard work everyone is doing here. I don't understand a lick of it. I finish the overheating course finally today. Only at level 36 myself. Guessing lots of passwords and using nerve elsewhere.

    Keep at it.

Okay no more playing with this for a while

    over 6bfs, 0.2 heat (50 cracks/350n) Build clicky

6bfs NO HEAT (just slightly less powerful than above) Clickable

    L4suicide [15699]

    Just unlocked more Oc
I used another HPCPU instead of a water block for 980k MIPS at 140% OC instead, but I can't recreate it in Bug's simulator. It glitches out and won't let me do anything higher than 0% OC.

I did have max 35% existing heat before changing to this rig so it overheated after the third cycle (hence only being able to use 675k MIPS as seen below), so I'm unsure if this design would cause the bottom PSU to overheat if it was used on a clean slate.

    Right after first use:

Later on, once it cooled a bit (just to show it's 980k MIPS, but it did in fact display 980k mips before I attempted the first brute force)
