Thread created on 10:03:25 - 30/11/23 (11 months ago)|Last replied 06:44:48 - 30/08/24 (2 months ago)Has anyone ever had an Extraterrestrial or close encounter with an alien or a Unidentified flying/floating object?
I'm curious to here stories of such things as I am looking into and ways of how to maybe have my own encounter, I have seen things in the sky before that look strange but I can't be certain of what they was or are so technically to me at the time they are ufo's as I couldn't identify what they was however at the same time they most likely where planes or helicopters etc so if anyways had any true stories they want to share I'm willing to listen read and understand them. -

The last one was a "phoenix lights" type object everyone in the car saw, and we got a little phone recording of it, but it was night and the object was so large, we were recording it over a dam in the middle of no where, we couldn't get it all in one frame.
20 Years ago I saw something that looked like fireworks fly up the side of the mountain I was on, and then it just hovered over the road for a moment, but it was now "cloaked" like you would see in star trek. Then it went left, following the road. I also had a scanner radio with me, and when the object crested the hill, the scanner went to static on all channels. -

Nope, I haven't got an encounter with extraterrestrial.
The most unexplained thing I remember as a child is my tv turning on to the sports channel when the tv doors were closed with the remote inside.
Other than that, a random balloon ? was randomly in the air. I didn't realize how an inflated balloon could be so stationary at a long red light. -

He was an honest man and a man of science but he was alays rather sceptic of E.Ts. However I recall one night him rushing in looking both shocked and excited as he described this sort of rocket hovering above the house before flying off at a speed that was inexplicable to him!Last edited by Milk on 12:54:42 - 08/12/23 (11 months ago)

489 June 21, 1959 2000 The Willows (South Africa). A civilian woman observed a saucer-shaped object hovering 5 m above ground. It was bathed in an orange glow, similar to that of a dying fire. It flew away horizontally and was lost to sight behind a hill. (Flying Saucer Review 59, 6)
568 Mar. 13, 1963 2230 Richards Bay (South Africa). Fred White was fishing when he heard a high-pitched whine coming from the east and saw an object come in his direction and land 15 m away, scattering sand. It was at least 30 m in diameter, and was shaped like two plates glued together. Through several oval portholes he could see light inside. A man with a fair complexion, wearing a metallic helmet, looked at the witness. He wore a sky-blue, one-piece coverall with no visible buttons or fasteners, and gloves made of shiny mesh. Warm air was felt as the craft took off about six min later, and radio interference was noted. (FSR 63, 5)
702 Sept. 15, 1965 2400 Silverton (South Africa). Two policemen, John Lockem and Koos de Klerk, were on a patrol of the Pretoria-Bronkhorstspruit Road when their headlights illuminated a disk, 10 m in diameter, copper-colored, resting on the road. Ten sec later it took off in a pool of flames, at high speed. The tar on the road kept burning for some time. (Humanoids 71) -

It was there for about 20 minutes flashing loads of different colours. It kept blinking out then appearing in a different place. I tried to video it but my phone died. The funniest thing was I had just fully charged it. Once the object disappeared for good my phone came back on. Strange

Posted on 09:26:12 - 09/01/24 (10 months ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkNever had one myself but decades ago my grandma and uncle were driving home on the rural roads up in north west Minnesota. There was something with lights, huge, hovering maybe 100ft above a railroad crossing. It was the only road for miles so they decided to try to pass under it and the car turned off when they got under it. It then flew away. They were able to restart the car but both of them swear it was a saucer.
This was a small number of miles from the Grand Forks airforce base, so it for sure could've been some kind of covert project that was never public. They were known to do dry dive bombing runs (didn't drop anything, but would swoop in as if they were) on civilian tractors in the area as practice so it wouldn't surprise me if they tested some kind of EMP on random cars late at night on near abandoned roads too lol. -

Posted on 05:40:43 - 18/01/24 (9 months ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkMy dad, siblings and I once saw a ball of flashing lights (red, green, blue, orange, yellow) appear in the sky, just flickering the aforementioned colors, during the late afternoon/early evening. It appeared as a single ball of the flashing lights continuously changing colors. Then it split into 3 balls of flashing lights and formed a triangle. After a short while (less than 2 minutes) it came back together into one ball of flashing lights then just jetted away like something out of a scifi. This was in 1998. To this day, we all remember seeing it.

Posted on 17:13:28 - 03/02/24 (9 months ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkI used to live in the sticks in the UK as a teenager, not really much to do with basically the one other teenage guy I actually liked so we used to just walk the back roads and smoke cigarettes. One night kind of remote, we saw a large amount of light coming from some trees in the distance. It was a whiteish light not the kind of orange glow you get from a fire and it was spilling through the trees in every direction we could see. We decided to get closer crossing a farmers field in the process. You couldn’t really see anything but it sounded like talking but i didn’t recognise any words. By the point we got about 30 metres away the lights turned off. We walked into where the light was coming from nothing there, no people or signs of people. We were a little spooked by this and im sure there are plenty of other explanations.

Posted on 04:34:00 - 11/02/24 (9 months ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkWas hanging with my homies in his garden one night. Me, him and another friend just chilling and talking. Out in the sky was an orange light moving in a straight diagonal line from left to right, getting higher in the sky. After a short while another light shows up exactly where the first appeared and moves in exactly the same way as the first with the first still going also. Again after a while another. They moved in a straight line equal distance apart and all disappeared in the same spot. No sound, no veering off the straight line they travelled, showed up in the same spot and left is the same spot. Maybe an explanation but was definitely confusing and sticks with me

Posted on 03:09:55 - 19/04/24 (6 months ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkOkay. One night the backyard party was winding down and we were walking down the driveway to our parked cars. Something made me look up and I noticed a dark object moving in the night sky. I said to my relatives, "Is that a UFO?" No sooner had I said that when it llghted up - a row of multi colored lights (red, amber, blue) which appeared to 'revolve' around the craft. My uncle said, "If that's a UFO, then why then is it lit up like a Christmas tree?!" He shrugged it off. Said it was a blimp. But it made no sound. Moved silently. Eerie.
I live in the Hudson Valley area, NY. Lots of strange goings-on in this area. -

During a period of my 20s,I became very content, but was also dealing with the odd sleep paralysis and what I would see was 2 silhouettes of the shape of the classic grey aliens. After a few weeks I noticed scars on my body, and upper body scars(I would have been very aware of an upper body injury) but I have multiple circle or "scoop scars". I was also seeing many owl's up very very close. Apparently that can symbolise the Anunaki alien race. I'll forever be curious as to how I got them. Woohoo! Phhht I'd love to know how I got them.
So,no sighting of UFO's unfortunately, but still a weird story to add.
