I've got the start of a cross-over between Star Trek and The Oliver that I had been thinking about doing :) DCDark had given me the name for the ship a while back - like, January, December last year... Here's the notes I'd put together for it so far!

The Zeta: Known by her crew as Lucky Number 7, or 'The 7' for short.

Run in Episodes, such as, 'The Zeta: Episode 1 - journey to the center of the universe'

You receive a flexi-screen note slid under your door. It glows a faint, electric blue with the symbol of a phoenix. You tap it to open the note, and the message begins.

The captain of the ship Zeta wants you on board for her maiden voyage. You will be joined by 5 other crewman. Your mission? To explore the galaxy

OR

Space Pirates, could always do space pirates, lets go steal shit Guardians of the Galaxy messy montage heist style

So! I have continued to work through this idea :) Since DCDark4 helped me flesh it out I wanted to wait util he's unfedded so he can take part. But, that may be a very long time - so instead this will launch sometime after the completion of the Far Lands RP :)

Strange2 is helping me in an advisory capacity! He already started with is post about potential pitfalls so I'll respond to those first.

1. This will take place in an melting pot sci-fi universe - we will draw from inspiration wherever we may find it :)

2. I'll be playing the captain, and veteran RP peeps will be offered set positions (Dr, Sci officer, Engineering etc - 5 positions total) I will be playing the captain and steering the story / ship but I love collabs!

3. This will take place on a single ship. I am nothing if not experimental, so we will have multiple RP threads going at once, representing rooms people can move between as their characters move throughout the ship (i.e. The Zeta - Bridge, The Zeta - Sickbay, The Zeta - Away Team etc)

4. This is not going to be a hard boiled sci fi, this will be loose and easy sci fi just like Star Trek or The Oliver etc. Emphasis will be on character interactions and solving the puzzle of the episode by working together as a team.

Hey all, just got an update from Pine yesterday. Heyo Wood! Been a while simce Ive posted and been on. Im terribly sorry for that. I onve again hope to be back on for good. The reason I havent been on much is due to the restrictions on travel my country have imposed to stop people fleeing. I also have some terrible news: Babushka has unfortunately passed away. And then Thank you, I also pray for this. All is well at the moment, still trying to make it by and deal with Babushka's sudden loss. I will try my best to my friend, Ill let you and the others know that I am safe. I care and miss you all as well and hope to return very soon! Say hello to the others for me!

Its great to hear that pine is doing well but what has happened to him is appaling, he's bieng trapped in a place he doesn't wanna be and with his babushka passing. one person can only hold so much before. well. i dont wanna dwell on that. And cant wait for pine to come back for good ^-^ i mean i've missed seeing his posts on the different RPs, same with Yazi, Dark. well. i mean... all of you. i mean the things i read on here is just. poof. i'm blown away ^-^ Just a small personal note, I will try to post when i can but if I do, it might be small posts. like a paragraph or something. I'm currently trying to deal with something happening within my family and well. yeah. there's kind of a divide going on between my family and i'm getting caught picking sides when i dont want to and. right i'm just going to stop because if this was a voice recording. it would've been done by now. i cant talk about this because it gets me a little emotional for well. agh i cant say. FFS! just. idk. just to sum it up, there's been a bit of a divide. resulting in tensions, fights... gah its difficult. Taking a break for a few! :) I'm good - just focused IRL for a bit. The Far Lands has come to an end and The Bathhouse on the Border Chapter 2 has also finished nicely :D Good time for a break. The Bathhouse will return with Chapter 3 at some point. And I will be starting up The Zeta soon, probably in January! I'm still around on Torn! If you want to chat just drop me a line :)
