Hey all :)

I got really sick, like dark night of the soul SICK. I didn't sleep for five days or so, just been dragging on, coughing, draining, getting loopy and getting clearer...

Anyway, I started pondering life. My life. And I realized I need to leave Torn.

I wanted to write a book - not just roleplays tho these are fun! An actual book :D

I wanted to help people, maybe do hospice care or something like that. Something that directly helps people in need. People wondering about the bigger picture, the soul, and all that good stuff. (Did you know that's my main interest? Yep! Check out my profile some time! I won't be deleting my character.)

The point is I haven't really moved much since I joined Torn. I'm getting that daily hit of dopamine and sense of mastery here and, well, here is a game. It's safe and comfy and it's a game that doesn't really matter much in the grand scheme of things.

I realized I'd forgotten all about my big picture. I got too comfortable. So, it's time to leave :)

I'll stick around for a few days. I'm giving my pub to my faction - I need to wait for them to find a suitable person who wants to run it. And I gave my PI and properties to my torn hubby.

And I intend to give the discord server to Yazi, or Granny. Granny and I kinda created it together but I know Yazi has more experience with discord servers in general... or DcDark too I think? Tho I'm not sure... Whoever wants it :) (No, not you, Siri - You've shown over time that you're more interested in serving yourself than serving others.)

So anyway! Thank you so much for being a part of my Torn family :) I'll be going now.

If you want to keep in touch I'll of course still be on discord. You know the handle.

Sorry about the sickness- sounds like hell.I'm sorry I didn't really take time to know you and further for seeming like a dick when I had the opportunity to. I just hope you find something that makes you feel better than this did. Probably not too hard, honestly.

It is a token of a bygone age. Much like in Lord of the Rings, how each age is less magical, adventurous, and exciting as time goes on. So it is with the RP forums. I have had to bid adieu to many written friends and foes. With AkiraDawn heading into the West, I question whether or not I will do the same....

Anyways, I have seen it many times better and many times worse than this. Mostly worse in recent memory. The archives are there for all to see, go back 3 years ago and this forum was effectively dead. Go back six and it was puttering along. It is only what we make of it.
