There are multiple reasons for this, but personal time is a big one. I also no longer am happy with the quality of scripts in general.
That's why I'm announcing something big now. Instead of making a lot of small standalone userscripts, I decided to work on TornTools, together with Mephiles.
For those who don't know TornTools (TT for short), it's an extension made by Mephiles in response to DoctorN (DrN for short) starting to break some longer time ago. It started as something that couldn't even compare to DrN. Now it's something I can proudly work on, so I do since recently.
Why would I choose for TT instead of scripts, you ask?
I'm not alone to work on things. This is practically impossible with scripts.
It's possible to let certain parts work together. This is practically impossible with scripts.
While my biggest scripts have more downloads than TT, this is only a few. Including my scripts in TT means that a lot more people can enjoy my features.
Having it not under my name means that I have to look at everything, including design. This is easily done with scripts, but I didn't care.
It's easier to have settings in an extension than in a script.
In version 5.0, I will be including a lot of my script features.
Ofcourse, this will have a direct impact on my scripts. I forced my users from OpenUserJs versions to GreasyFork just recently and I will soon delete my scripts on OpenUserJs (when it comes back online). My scripts on GreasyFork are currently unlisted, and soon will be soft-deleted, if I don't change my mind (either it's staying unlisted or a soft-delete, not a hard-delete). Soft deleting means that it won't try to uninstall itself.
I'll list all my scripts here, being added completely means a soft delete on it's way.
-- Added / These will be soft-deleted.
High/Low Helper was already added to TT, however my script still keeps some benefit so it will stay online.
Stat Estimate has been added to TT completely (except competitions, which is planned).
Safe Crimes has been completely added to TT.
No Confirm is a special case. It has been illegal for quite some time and has been hard removed. However, for where I could do it legally, I added it to TT.
Item Value was part of TT and has been improved.
Stock Trader has been added to TT with some huge improvements.
Travel Cooldown has been added to TT completely and even improved.
Banker Tools has 2 out of 3 features included in TT, the third has been natively added to Torn (it became illegal, so I made a suggestion which was added quickly).
Armoury Toggle was already part of TT.
Faction Armory Log was already part of TT.
Mission Reward Information was already partly in TT and has been improved now.
-- Under Consideration / These will be soft-deleted after getting added.
OC Payday is still fairly new and can stay for now.
-- Not Implemented (my opinion can be changed on these)
CT2019 is a huge project, which I currently do not want to take on.
Gym Percentage I don't find worth it as I don't really see the use.
Bazaar Worth. I don't need a reason for everything I do.
Bazaar Safety worked quite badly.
Museum Market wasn't used a lot and was pretty hard to see too.
-- Scrapped (my opinion can't be changed on these)
Bazaar Filter was natively added to Torn, so it will be soft deleted too.
Item Favorite worked quite badly and wasn't used a by a lot.
Hospital All Day worked quite badly and wasn't used a by a lot.
