11 out of 10 script. Must have for OC managers

You are singlehandedly going to be responsible for 1000s... maybe even 10s of thousands of people being kicked from factions.

Should be very proud of this achievement / script and what it will do.  Have outdone yourself,

    Good work o7

    Dyno [1043377]

Hello, please could there be an option to toggle the sidebar thing that says what OC you're in, on/off now TornTools has fixed it for OCs 2.0?

    Update 5.1.1

    • Added a setting option to toggle the sidebar information on/off
      • Setting this to 'off' will also cause the script to not run any API queries when the OC2.0 overview window is not open

Thanks for letting me know about this!

Amazing script, thanks a ton!  Any chance of a setting to highlight crimes where somebody is missing a required item in the overview?

Absolutely loving your script, thanks!! However, while it is working seamlessly on computer browser... I haven't gotten it running correctly in TornPDA. The api spot in the settings was locked out. So I added the API (and the TornPDA api) to the script itself but it's not recognizing them. It's still saying: "Error occured: Incorrect ID-entity relation. Please visit the Settings Page to set up an API key"

typically that means you don't have faction API access or you're trying to access data your key doesn't have access to.

Ahhh that was it! My faction leader provided me the API key but didn't add me to a role with API access. Tweaked that and it is now working perfect. I reset the script and interestingly, I didn't even have to add any API keys. So I'm guessing my TornPDA key is bringing it through maybe? Either way, working great. Thanks for the assistance!!

Couple feature ideas to put on your radar if possible:

    1. I would LOVE to have a way to see the current online status of my faction members in the "Members not in an OC" list. I sort the list by Active:Asc but it would be great to just have a one look way to see who is online/idle as those are the people I would like to ping to get into a crime.
    2. In the Crimes sections, it would be awesome to have an "Expand All" function to expand all crimes in a particular section. Maybe a hotlink on the "Uninitiated Crimes", "Recruiting Crimes", and "Full Crimes" text themselves (or just next to them) that expands all the crimes in the respective section would be REALLY handy. I find myself having to click a lot of times to expand them all when a one click would be incredibly helpful.
    3. In the Crimes section, it would be great to be able to see the current status of the preparation for each member. (Knowing the percent complete or completely complete for their crime slot would be good to know as sometimes I would like to contact that member to swap into a different crime/slot, but I don't want to do that if their preparation is in progress.

That's it for now I think. Thanks again for making such an amazing script!!! The work you and others put into scripting is so appreciated!!

Thank you everyone for your continued interest, and to Allenone in answering the API key error!

Good idea! I'll work on adding this in the next update.

I've toyed with this idea, but kept coming back to one problem: the online status will be based on when the page loads since it needs an API call. As such, it won't be accurate after a minute or so. I really don't want to make a call every ~30 seconds if possible. Perhaps I could add in a toggle with a disclaimer that the information is only accurate at the time of page load - I'll play around with it and see how it turns out.

I like this idea 👀 and will work to implement it.

Also a good idea, didn't consider that this information could be useful! Will be adding this in the next update.

Next update might take a little bit longer since I'm hitting a busy period at work, and Valentine's is this weekend. Will still be reading the forums and any messages sent, so feel free to contact me!

Excellent script, doing what all great scripts do, something core game ought to be doing already. Cheers

Great idea! Looks like you're half way there... it looks like the infinity icon for a reusable tool is green or red depending on if the person has it. Then the tool icon in general could maybe go red if the person doesn't have the tool??

Totally hear what you're saying in regards to it not being "live". That said, I was already going under the assumption that the data on this page is not live updating. I figured I would need to hit refresh to see any changes in the non OC members list activity as well as the current crime status lists (other than the automatic countdown timers of course).

The color coded crime icons based on their last crime date I find super handy. The head icons a bit less so... I sort by last activity so I already know the inactive people are at the bottom of the list. But I still think it would be SOOOOOO handy to have an online status icon (Active, Idle) at a glance. And ensuring we know we need to refresh our browser to get the latest statuses for everything. ;)

Very happy to hear my other suggestions sounded good to you too!

One last UI/UX improvement to the "Members not in OC" list. The two column issue for how they're laid out. Logically, I feel that our eyes should go on the left column and DOWN. Then to the right column and DOWN. Not, row by row, left to right, then move our eyes to the next row, left to right, and so forth. If you could fix the way the list is laid out so that the sort goes left column down, and then right column down... that would make me very happy also. :)

    Thanks again!!

Torn does an internal https://www.torn.com/chat/online-status request at a set interval which gets the online status of faction members, friends, and i believe recent DM contacts.

You can trigger off of this data and update activity icons in real time without too much effort.

I am having trouble installing on PC with tampermonkey, and it wont allow me to insert my API. I've removed it and reinstalled a couple times now and nothing... Works fine on tornPDA tho! Any recommendations?

    Happy to help!

Could you elaborate on what you mean by "it won't allow me to insert my API"?

Is the OC overview window not appearing where you expect it to appear?

Is the settings page not showing?

Are you not able to test the API key?

Is the API key testing coming back as a failure?

Are you not able to save the API key?

Are you manually adding your API key to the code?

What are the chances of you allowing to see when OCs are delayed? Maybe have this timer continue into the minuses.

you dont have api access from your faction - your role needs to have the api access permission.
