Sorry for the delay in the update. 
Life got too crazy. 

This upgrade has a revamp to a lot of the functions. Re-introduced some old features, removed some and added some. 

• Re-introduced sorting logic by pressing on the title (Quantity, Price, Updated)
• Added Updated time (sorry for the long wait on this)
• Updated search logic to show results for items without the need to explicitly search for them (After testing how this effects my backend on Weav3r's script, I found no issues. My main concern was data scraping scripts that some players are using. Will keep an eye on this and might remove this if it cause me a server issue)
• Removed the Bazaar button from the top of the page and added it above the table. (Loading should be much faster when switching, will also soon add the ability to swipe between tables instead of pressing a button)  

I do have some more updates in the works and some that are almost ready but still need some testing on my end. Hopefully I will have some more time to updated things and fix any issues faster.

Torn Citizens, 

The new items market 2.0 is a ... well its an upgrade from the old market at least. 

Before bogie shows up and yells at me:

• I understand that there are some economical aspect to bringing the majority of the sales back to the item market.
• I know that sellers have different ways they can advertise their bazaars. (Ads, chats, etc..) But this leave them more prone to a mug since they have no idea when someone will see it and buy things.
• I already know that I probably don't have the full picture the top brass has. 

Now personally I was never a big seller. I used to sell some thing here and there. I used to buy a lot from bazaars. I also hate paying fees for the market. 

That being said, I like to introduce you to the new Bazaar Item Search, powered by the IronNerd (another project I was working on). 

Bazaar Item Search ---------> SCRIPT

This script will allow sellers to register their bazaars into my DB and allow buyers to find them when doing a search for that item, just like in the good old days. 

Simply download the script, go to the settings gear icon in the item market and add an api key. Sellers, you got 1 more step of pressing register bazaar.

Hows does it work? 

When a seller register their bazaar in my DB, an update on it gets run every minute or so, using that sellers own API key.

This keeps the listing up to date.  

When a buyers searches for an item, if the item is something one of our registered sellers have, just like before, this will show

a list of up to 10 cheapest bazaars that has that item. 

Will I have to pay anything?

No. Currently and for the foreseeable future, this project will remain free. As long as my other project is running at least. 

Although donations, and support always welcome, they are never demanded. 

What about Registering and staying registered?

Currently, Bazaars with more than 20 different items in them will not be able to register. 

Example: You can have 10'000 Xanax, 50'000 beer bottles, and 18 guns. 

This guns are listed separately, its considered a different item even if they were all the same. 

Due to the upcoming Dollar Sale event, the above limitation will be upgraded to 100 item.

(Limitations might change based on usage)

Why?

• Saving on resources to not have to pay extra out of pocket. Already using a DB I pay for, no need to upgrade it. 
• Plenty of people have 100's + of items in their bazaar and use it as a showcase or a $1 sale
• Actively selling players usually focus on selling a few items at a time. This allows them to jump out of the hosp, change prices as needed and jump back in. 

Note: Bazaars that are closed or empty for 6 hours will be removed and you will need to press the register bazaar button again. 

Note 2: You can always remove your bazaar from the DB with the press of a button. (A GREAT idea to do when done selling)

What about buy-mugging?

Although I added some randomization in updating the data, BUY MUGGING is an aspect of the game that you should know how to handle. 
Make sure you self hosp, ghost trade, etc .. Same as before. 
And since Im not sure if this script will be popular and used a lot, I can't say you will or will not get a sale. 

Does it work on TornPDA?

Yes. I have downloaded the script and used it on both a Samsung S21 Ultra and an iPhone 15 pro max. 

Works as intended.

What if I found a bug?

Finding bugs could be inevitable, I am currently using my own bazaar as the sole trial and error range I have. The more people use this, the more we will find out if we will face any issues. 

If you do, please let me know of them. Also bare with me as this project was created out of nowhere, while I should have been doing something else.

Share this with everyone. The more sellers we have, the easier it will be for buyers to find items they search for. 

In preparation for the upcoming Dollar Sale event:

• Added a $1 button that shows top 5 highest market priced items in a certain bazaar. (Up to 100 items at random)
• Raised the limit to 100 different items per bazaar

very cool mate, good effort. I was thinking of creating such button as a Torn Tools feature, that would also work.

Would love to see that. I don't mind deprecating this. 
TornTools has a bigger reach, is more established, and would have more people using it. 

We are seeing an increase in usage, but we still need more sellers to add their bazaars.

Nov 18th, 2024 updates:

- Couple of bug fixes on the backend.

- Increased capacity to register Bazaar to 10,000 items (the bazaar max) in preparation for the $1 sale event. 

Just noticed something broke down in dark mode. (Bazaar items not showing clearly)

If you are facing this issue, please update to the new version 0.3.2.

Script is duplicating on page change/search in item market on Torn PDA

Seems to be working for me, but not finding anything useful - i guess it needs more people to opt in...

Can you combine same person's items so that we only have to click a person's bazaar once?

That is possible, but the idea behind this was showing top 5 (highest value items) per seller that are $1. That way buyers can see if this person has something of value or not. 

But overall, think I can make it more compact without losing the logic.

Yeah, trying to get more sellers on this.
