There are known areas where bsp is not great.

Old players that had a huge inactivity gap, who don't take a lot of Xanax / refills, for example

Or cockynudist kind of profiles.

I'll probably add an extra check with rank trigger one day, to fix obvious ones.

But yeah, FF based predictions alleviate this issue. 

I plan on adding more logic related to this (like return a FF based prediction forever if the player never reconnect, instead of switching to ml prediction after the caching delay)

Tiny update:

I reduced the duration of FF based estimation predictions (the little gray stars) to 15 days (was 60 days at first)

My original thought process was that it was better to return FF based data, although a bit outdated, rather than pure predictions (because predictions can always lead to wrong output, like for cockynudist)

But it was affecting negatively new/weak players, because within 60 days, those players can grow a lot, comparatively to 4-5b players.

I'll improve that in the future. (Always return FF based prediction when player is inactive, longer cache period for bigger player etc)

So I signed up and input my API (sent fight logs as well) and generally it seems to be okay but it's literally 25% off on my own base stats. . . That seems weird.

The TBS you see on your own profile is how a normal bsp user sees you.

No bsp users who is sharing their attack logs, attacked/got attacked you (with a FairFight below 3) in the last 15 days.

Sending your fight logs doesn't share your own stats with anyone (it's not saved either on the bsp server)

So in your case, its relying on the ML model (a pure prediction). 

25% off is not amazing indeed. Could be due to multiple reasons (maybe you are not balanced at all? Maybe you have a way of playing that is a bit outside the dataset used for the training)

As mentioned in the original thread, predictions are not 100% accurate, something it can even be pretty bad (I always take the example of cockynudist for that, chugging xan, using energy refill, yet never training in the gym) overall it's doing decent, and most bsp users (myself included :D) find those useful to get a very quick idea of a player. But keep in mind it's not a cheat and, contrary to FF based predictions (the ones with little gray stars) or spies, it's not 100 reliable.

Ever since I reset my merits, this is way way way off. Says my faction leader has millions and that's not even close to his stats, same with all the other menbers: way way way off. Says I have 1.3m (lol I wish. Not even half that) and each time I do a gym session it adds another half mil to my stats on this lol. If it were that easy in game haha.

I tried clearing the predictions in the Debug but it went right back to the way off numbers. (they're off by 50-70% toward the upper stat numbers - 500k stats shows as 1m, 1m stats show as 1.7 to 2.3m etc). 

Resent all the API's I have in the bps options on my profile and fixed nothing.

Updated it in pda script manager area, nothing fixed. 

This ran perfectly up to the point I reset my merits so that has to be the culprit. I reset them 5 days ago. 

I have 32 days left on my 3mth trial for sharing my battle stats. The options menu shows my stats correctly, btw. Just the public facing (or what I see on players pages/my faction members stats/my own profile) are beyond off. 

This still working? Or is mine broken xD

I posted immediately above your post here. Is yours doing the same extreme over reacting as mine is? Mine adds a few million to ppl's stats: sometimes even triple higher than they really are lol. It's a hot mess. I'm about to delete it and reinstall it and hope it'll fix it. 

Mine went full insane mode immediately after I reset my merits a few days back. Worked amazing til then. 

Nah mines just not loading at all. IT says it's installed in my extensions and what not. I'm just not getting that lil box next to the Faction flag. I've reinstalled. Sent Xanax to Tdup. But nothing :P

Hey there, Usually the issue is this:

For those who don't see BSP settings anymore (or any prediction)
It's related to tampermonkey (and should affect all scripts, not just bsp)
If you are on PC, you need to enable developer mode in your Chrome extensions window (top right), and it should fix your issue.
If you are on mobile (kiwi), latest tampermonkey version is straight up incompatible with kiwi anymore.
Migrating to violentmonkey (both on pc or mobile) should fix that issue (that is not just related to bsp)

Resetting your merits won't have any impact on BSP.

Like I say multiple times, BSP is not 100% accurate, it's trying to predict TBS. Which is not rocket science (especially in my hands :p) 

A couple of things:

- When I look at your faction, I see a couple of players with the little gray star, meaning those predictions have been made using other BSP users attack logs. Those should have a better certainty, since they are computed and not going through ML model. That being said, the stats computed/predicted is the BScore. and not directly Total Battle Stats (TBS). So a player can have a well predicted BScore, but by whoring totally one stat, being not accurate on the TBS.

- BSP gets better for active players and stronger players. My training data was probably a bit biased towards active players, which could have impacted a bit by making predicted TBS a bit higher than the average, especially for small players. 

- When you clear predictions, in debug options, it clears your local cache, and gets what's on BSP server. Usually it should be the same thing so it's not surprising nothing changed.

- Sorry it's not more accurate in all cases! I'll do my best to improve that in the future (I'm IRL a bit busy, moving houses next week, with 2 kids, and busy IRL job)

BSP not working on Tampermonkey safari....

tried re-installing Tampermonkey and BSP script...showing 'Couldn't check (error)' after api validation

How long for the fix??

I'm not sure how it works on safari. 

This error you got is when bsp tries to contact Torn API, on your machine, and fails.

Is it on iPhone? I thought apple device couldnt use scripts properly within the browser and had to go through PDA ?

Looks like Chrome removed Violentmonkey from their store.

If you are using Chrome on PC, you should be able to use tampermonkey.
Just make sure you have the developer mode enabled (otherwise userscript don't get injected)

If you know / have other ways to have userscripts running (because it doesn't impact just BSP..) don't hesitate to share.
(this whole upgrade to manifest V3 is super frustrating to support)

I have am using chrome on PC and have tampermonkey in dev mode and its still not working

I'll give this script 5/5 stars, my out most endorsement, and a life long subscription if it's even remotely close to my stats.

What version of Tampermonkey you have? 
I just reinstalled it on one of my computer (coz Chrome V3 manifest really did kill Violentmonkey) and it's working properly.
(BSP and other scripts run normally)

It should be fairly accurate right now, since it has been computed through BSP players attack (using FF)
At least the BScore underneath should be. Don't know if you are whoring one stat like crazy though (which could impact the Total Battle Stats displayed):
