Full Disclosure - I know what I'd like to receive via a report ..but.. zero knowledge of how to get there. I've just recently started playing with API connections to Google Sheets but I'm running around in a fog bank.
I"m unsure of best tool(s) to use in order to meet my expectations. Ideally, one report is ran against all faction members upon War or Chain conclusion. Ideally, date/time params are used for start and stop of data collection.
Data to be returned includes;
Optional Fields Faction ID Faction Name Player ID
Required Fields Donator or Subscriber Status Player Name Level War Hits Other Hits Total Hits Assists Last Online Attacks Made Defends Times Attacked Armory Points Used Armory Xanax Used Armory Vicodin Used Number of ODs Armory Temp Items Used by Type Armory Blood Bags Used Armory First Aid Items Used by Type FHCs Used Bounties Placed and Value Bounties Received and Value
Is this a pipe-dream? I've collected most of the data above, but it's been a long, manual process. Very time consuming. I'd like to think there's a better way. Which way though, and more importantly.... how?
Ideally, our faction starts a Chain or enters into a War at time xxxx. Event ends at zzzz. Fill those two params in and kick off the report. Open up the spreadsheet and review.
We just finished another Ranked War and I'm having to manually compile above info using YATA, TornStats, and Torn itself. And, to make matters worse the data doesn't match across all three platforms. Go figure.
I'd really like to think there's a method of pulling this info. Yes, No, Maybe?
A programmer I am not and attempts to find useful 'how-to' documentation to build out my own query have been fruitless.
Is it a matter of compensation? If so, let's chat.
