    Mathiaas [1918010]

Are you planning on adding support for no API key and simply allowing to insert your own respect amount?
I did have no API use when first started, but it brought up to many problems
every routine had to have exceptions for none API users, the program started getting messy and I was constantly bug fixing

when the War Mode was added it got even harder to sort out and I decided just to go with API users only

the API required is Minimal Access faction stats and upgrades
but you also need Faction Permissions for Faction API Access to use

    Linux Workaround
    OS: Ubuntu 22.10

To get this to work on Linux, you need to Install Wine.
(This is a site that helped me to install it.)

After being installed and testing it, using "wine clock" in the terminal and having a clock pop up.

Find the path to the "setup.exe" file (one of the 3 files you extracted from the Drive file. (Most likely located in your downloads file))

Open your terminal and send, "wine path/setup.exe"

This will open the download prompt
Click continue and finish the process

Now you will need the path to the new folder containing the "simulationupgrade.exe" file.

Once you have that, send "wine path/simulationupgrade.exe"

It should then ask for your API key, click OK
    &
    BOOM

There we go Faction Tree Simulator V4.2.3 running on Linux

If anyone has any issues, please feel free to contact me

Used it last week to sort out our War Perks, for reasons..
Optimizing things made us from missing some last crucial upgrades, to almost maxing out everything.

Works like a charm. 8/8 would recommend, don't let your respect be wasted.

Just downloaded it, so far it looks 1000x better than Yata's. looking forward to use it more often
Forgot about this forum but now I can say that it is for sure the best respect simulator i've came across, puts Tornstat's and Yata's on the ground

To unlock points in the armory, you need one path OR the other, not both. It's not giving me an accurate representation of my faction because the simulator currently thinks I need both.
    Image of armory boosters

Otherwise, this is an awesome simulator!

    okay, my bad
I didn't have a low-respect faction when I made this and there are no instructions on how the upgrade tree works

iv have fixed the problem and updated to version 4.2.4

Just noticed a weird quirk with the app. My faction is currently in War Mode, and it correctly opens in War mode, but the numbers don't match up with what Torn says initially. It has the correct faction respect, but the amount remaining is 3 less than what Torn shows. Swithing in the simulator to peace and back to war updates to the correct values, though. Thought you'd be interested in knowing.

    I have never encountered this

    Questions:
    • Are all your Tiers in the same order as Torn shows?
    • Have you tried restarting the app?
Otherwise, it is such a small amount its nothing to worry about, it may correct itself later

    Thank you for the update
