JTTT Can you add a field for Energy used in Stats2?

    jtower [2287159]

What do you mean by energy used?

    masheen [2625139]

Energy used in the gym. See how much spillage I have etc

Sometimes I can wake up in the night and take my 3 xanax so I used 750, 150 refill, 720 E, some days I dont do that. The logs have a energy used in the gym section can that be turned into something?

    jtower [2287159]

Got it now! All the stats in the Stats2 sheet are "personal stats" taken basically from this page: https://www.torn.com/personalstats.php
I could easily add any of those, but i don't see "energy used". In that case, I would need to use the logs api for that, for which I would need to use a different logic, compared to the attributes in the Stats sheet.

What you could try is asking Ched to add that attribute in the personal stats page and API. If they add it, I can easily add it as well.

    masheen [2625139]

It seems the guys who track this use this part of the logs https://www.torn.com/page.php?sid=log&log=5301

Idk how hard is this :(

Also what is gym train addict in the log sections?
Yes, you can probably use this which is more generic for the Gym: https://www.torn.com/page.php?sid=log&cat=125

Using logs API is more complicated than just a static API, because i need to store delta changes instead of just a static number (like for the personal stats section). And since it's a different logic, I can't put it there...well, at least not for now.

This sheet is so good, I think anything is possible for you. Perhaps most of this is not possible due to API requirement, I am ignorantly assuming you can somehow link it all, since this info does appear on faction crimes, forum updates, etc. I think you should add more information for factions and perhaps some functionality as well:

    FACTIONS

    1. Keep a record of items members used from the vault.
    2. Keep a record of how many times every member missed the OC deadline.
    3. Flag members who dont log on daily as per faction rules.
    4. Detailed info of every members chain participation.
    5. Chain participation history of members.
    6. Penalty system or reward system faction leaders can use.
    7. Grouping of faction members by title so you can see who the traders are for example.
    8. Detail of every members attacks in terms of TCT. Leaders can then see when their members are online and active the most and can plan their chains more intelligently.

    FORUMS

(Lots of people here use forums to pass the time,)

    1. Top list of people who responded to your posts.
    2. Top list of people who liked your posts, as well as list of dislikes. It would be interesting to see who your friends and foes are in there. This is a statistics game after all.
    3. Graph of percentage of your participation in whichever (topic) subdivision.
    4. Summary or some sort of detail pertaining to forum thread participation of your fellow company employees/director and faction members.

    COMPANIES

    1. Total times every member went 1 day inactive.
    2. Total times (and total minus points) every member got for addiction at the time on Sunday when the week ends.

    INDIVIDUAL

    1. Calculator where you can put in your target flower/ plushie set and it indicates how many times you need to fly to every country, to complete your sets, as per your stock on hand.
    2. History and details of your crimes, so you can see how many times and when you failed which crimes.

    RACING

    1. Information of cars used per track.
    2. Info on which cars have beaten you on which tracks.
    3. Layout of which upgrades of which cars are available all on one sheet as per your race points on hand.

    CASINO

    1. History and detail of money lost/win per hand.
    2. Same for win/lost per play on the flop, turn or river.

Thats all for my silly ideas. Lol

    jtower [2287159]

Wow, this was the longest request ever!

Some of these requests are not in the API (like forum or racing info), but I guess they can be extracted using the logs API. Only problem with that is that will require a lot of string manipulations, which are generally heavy. Some of the factions requests are possible, some of those require faction API access. For the others, I think they are doable, but some of them are not ideal for a spreadsheet (especially for THT, which is already heavy)

I'll take a deeper look when I have (a lot of) time. Do you have favorite ones?

    LollipopJackson [2670493]

Yeah I thought most of them would be a little unrealistic... lol

    FAVOURITES:

    1. Calculator where you can put in your target flower/ plushie set and it indicates how many times you need to fly to every country, to complete your sets, as per your stock on hand (and your travel capacity)
    2. Layout of which upgrades of which cars are available all on one sheet as per your race points on hand.

I have a question though, from a complete ignorant angle ofcourse...

Why would some of those faction requests require API access, if those details are available to everyone? And regarding THT being data intensive already, yeah I understand that. Maybe your next project could be a sheet just for factions...
Sorry for the late reply :)

For #1, I'm not going to do it, especially because flying to complete sets are not worth it. You should just fly to the highest profit in the Travel sheet and at the end of the day (or the week) you'll end up with 15% higher profit.
For #2, I don't think that the upgrade list is available in the API. It would be hard to maintain it

And for your last question, some of the requests you listed are simply not public info.

I got this a couple of weeks ago and have to say im still getting used to it in order to get the best out of it

BUT so far its worth it without question.

Be nice if there was something that could give an indication of good stock to buy etc although i suppose you could do that manually with the stick price notification - just be nice if there was something "semi automatic"

That said its only an observation - the sheet is excellent

That would be very nice. I'm not a stock expert, but if there are suggestions I'd be happy to implement them :)

I guess one way to do it would be to keep data cached (say, weekly or monthly?) and when it hits an "all time low" of said cache data, suggest to buy into it, or at least check it out?

For example, if PRN was at 750 a month ago, and it's all time low was 720, but today it hit 712, the sheet could say "Hey, Syn, check out PRN, it's really low!".

And do it in reverse on when to sell, PRN was 750 a month ago, all time high was 750, but today it's 761, "Hey Syn, PRN is high, go check it out!"

The caching could be done by, I dunno, it's 750 today, check in an hour or so, it's 761, set that as it's current all time high, in an hour it's 743, set that as it's all time low. In another hour, it's 741, new all time low, etc.

EDIT: Unless you can pull stock data directly from Torn to set it's actual all time low/high?

If you get my meaning, probably explaining this very badly.

EDIT 2: See very badly put together image of kinda what I'm talking about.

So what we need is a feed that shows the last 60 days pricing - updated (to start) 4 times a day.

Once we have that we can play with the data and put in a formula (series of) to give a good indication of when to buy and sell

    Make sense ?

Absolutely love the spreadsheet, it's helped in so many ways and I still haven't used all of the functionality. Well worth the money and jtower is happy to help with any questions.

Definitely recommend, especially for anyone else new like me. :)

    Fantastic Sheet!!

    Two suggestions though:
    - Would it be possible to change the time I receive a mail for employee inactivity, for my own company, so that its maybe at 17:30 TCT so I know to put prices down or up beforehand.

    - Some way of logging your profits for the company.

I added the latest suggestions to the first post:

    - 60 days of stock prices (4/day)
    - Inactive employee notification at 17.30 TCT
    - Lowest stock prices

I'll implement the easiest ones first.

This one "Some way of logging your profits for the company." is already in the suggestion list (Weekly/Monthly Income Avg for company directors)

This is done. Now the StockList sheet has 5 new columns (columns F to J), which contain:
    - Price/share % difference from 1 day ago
    - Price/share % difference from 1 week ago
    - Price/share % difference from 1 month ago
    - Price/share % difference from 1 year ago
    - Lowest Price/share in the last year

You got automatically this (sorry for the 20 email notifications :P)
Let me know if you see any issues with this update
