    Are API keys guaranteed to be unique, even long after they have expired?
    If I key is created today and deleted tomorrow, can we guarantee that that specific sequence of characters will never be issued again?

    Given that the number of possible combinations is (26 lower case letters + 26 upper case letters + 10 digits) ^ 16 = 4.7672402 × 1028 , or 47672402000000000000000000000, I think we can say that every key is very likely to be unique.
