Can we get the chain id in the faction endpoint for chains that are currently active / on cooldown?

Chain Reports are pretty much private to your faction

your own chain is in Faction News and the Chain ID is in the link

you can only really get other factions Chain IDs if they are shared with you or posted in a forum

This is not the case anymore, chain reports are now public and directly linked once chains are on cooldown on any faction page:

    Patch list #220 : 30/11/2021

    - Added public linking to Chain Reports from blue chain boxes in cooldown on faction profiles
Therefore I see no reason why the id wouldn't also be included in the API :)

Yes I know about the Chain Reports and they can be shown Public

and the Patch says: - Added public linking to Chain Reports

you can share the report with your friends, forums, discord and others

the Chain ID is in the link

this can then be used in the APIs as

    https://api.torn.com/torn/20946793?selections=chainreport&key=

    this is another shared link

I believe finally and that patch note is referring to the clickable link on faction's pages where everyone outside of the faction can access the chain report without having to be sent it, making the chains Id's publicly accessible during the chain and the following cooldown.

Chain IDs can be found in chains API

The above is date 10/11/2017 17:03:52 well passed the Logs limits 17/04/18

as the chain ID is only 32 it is most probably the first day of recording chains

Also can use the whole API for graphs

PlatinumDevil is spot on, and that's exactly what I am asking for, the "chains" selection is private, I want the chain id for chains that are currently on cooldown and thus public :)

You Changed your Opening Post, which could have been in the ``Questions and Answers`` forum

    This is API Development

But an API for chains that are currently active / on cooldown wouldn't be a bad idea

Yes I changed my post to make it more clear, since you showed me it wasn't clear enough, thanks for that. But I don't know how this would be a Q/A thing? You can see the current/on cooldown chain from other factions via the faction endpoint, all I want is the id there :p
