I am developing a stock algorithm that I think will give an actual way of predicting which stocks will go up and down over the next 24 hours.
I'm not going to go into the elements of the algorithm right now. But, through manual tracking and storing of market fluctuations, my spread sheet has advised me on which stocks to purchase and sell, and over a simple 24 hours I am already up 1%. Which proves nothing, but suggests there is potential. In time I will also add a fictional datastream that acts as a control group to ensure my gains are not simply "to ocean rising raises all boats".
Anyway, what my system really lacks is automaticity. I can't be constantly entering the data manually myself. But to work, not only do I need average daily values from each stock, but I also need to analyze hourly fluctuations. I need to be able to capture all the data and have it entered into a spreadsheet.
I have seen this done by others, into a live-time graph (https://tornsy.com/). But that fellow doesn't have access to his coding right now. If someone helps me build a system that updates directly to a spreadsheet, I will give that someone a DP on completion of project.
