For those of you who may not already be doing this, here are a few "free crypto" opportunities.

Install/Use Brave Browser - Earn $BAT for every advertisement you have to see, while simultaneously blocking different trackers and pop ups. You set how many ads you see, can use the Google, duckduckgo, or w.e other browsers search engine within the brave browser, and earn crypto while you do stuff you would normally do anyway.

Theta.tv - Earn $TFUEL while you watch different streams. They have all kinds of channels. It's similar to twitch, but with the addition of crypto.. so if your into gaming, poker, NASA, crypto, or any of the other many channels THETA has available, why not earn crypto while you do? As you watch a stream, your unused bandwidth is shared with other peers, earning you TFUEL for every minute you spend watching a stream where your bandwidth is being shared.

EDIT: You can also earn TFUEL in the edge node by clicking the "cache/compute" tab and entering a theta wallet address. Set the address to a theta wallet and not your theta.tv wallet. Only monetized THETA streamers can take tfuel out of the THETA environment otherwise, so your tfuel earned will be "stuck". You can download the THETA wallet app in the app store. You HAVE to use a THETA blockchain wallet, not metamask, coinbase, or any other blockchains exchange/wallet.

BitTorrent File System (BTFS) - Earn $BTT by "leasing" out the unused memory on your PC. You set how many GB your willing to "share" and based on that, you earn your $BTT. Roughly 100BTT per GB per month. So 500GB would earn 5000 BTT which equates to roughly $35 a month at current pricing.

All together, depending on how much you stream, these 3 things combined should earn you roughly $40-50 per month, with absolutely $0 investments.

    Luke- [2629796]

Some really good options there, Also if people are just sitting on their crypto, you should throw it into Nexo who give you compounding interest on your coins everyday. I've earned $40 over the past few months doing literally f**k all with my crypto, obviously not a lot but for just doing nothing it definitely is.
Yea all of mine are staked in some form or another.

ADA in the daedalus node in a stake pool
    VET on binance earning VTHO
OMI wrapped and in an ETH pair on Uniswap

Plus doing all the stuff I mentioned, GPU mining, and have a few random I got for free on coinbase lol

Mostly the majors BTC, ETH, LTC for holding plus XRP, ADA, IOT and BNB just in case they take off.

Bought DOGE just because of the hype and will watch it closely to sell before it tanks. Shit coins with no tech behind them get run up and then flame out. There is money to be made in the run up.

Bad experiences with Kraken as well, so I use Binance for all the crazy little coins. I use GDAX which is the "professional" version of Coinbase for holding majors. The interface is less user friendly but the fees are a quarter of the price.

99bitcoins and WorldcoinIndex for tracking and news

Can't hate on that portfolio at all... thats like THE standard.

Just curious if you stake your ADA? And do you use your BNB on the binance exchange at all, or just hold for long term gains?

Can't bring myself to get into DOGE, especially after all the pumps. I'm sure it will keep going... but id just rather invest that $$ into something else. Who knows though,, maybe if there is a massive dip at some point in the next few weeks I may just say "F it" and throw some money into it

I'm really only HODLing the majors - the rest I could let go of in a heartbeat.

I need to stake the ADA but haven't gotten around to it yet. I had my NEO staked but sold it recently.

The BNB is for exchanging since I don't want to waste the BTC on buying risky coins.

Completely understand your feelings about DOGE, I'm really just betting on Musk to hype it enough to turn a profit. My $90 investment turned into $500 this week. I'm not sure I would buy that one after the dip because it's nothing but hot air anyway - once it deflates I'm not sure it can be refilled.

Lol I'll rephrase... if it hits a major dip before 50 cents. Beyond 50 cent (and we almost got there) I feel is when DOGE is in the most danger of someone like the winklevos twins coming in and absolutely devastating the price with huge shorts.

I fully believe the communal push to 1$ will happen, under certain circumstances though. I even have non crypto people coming up to me like "should I invest in doge, do you think it will hit a dollar?". He'll, even on the radio the one guy was saying he made 35k on doge, and had everyone on the station trying to buy at 40 cents lol.
The sheer amount of hype around DOGE is genuinely amazing.

But again it's more of a fun one, throw your money in and hope. I would never drop serious money in it. I am considering buying into SHIBA tho or one of the other meme coins that are pumping 8000% in a day and cost 0.000000001 rn

Got Brave last night

really good, since all I've done is spend a few hours browsing random shit like I always do... except now I can earn a few $ a month doing it :p

If you set your screen to never go into sleep mode, and set brave to max advertisements, you'll make roughly 2 BAT per month. Not much, but hey, free is for me! Will take several months of earning BAT before you can withdraw to a wallet, but no biggie.

If you decide to setup BTFS or a Theta.Tv edge node and need any help let me know. The edge node isn't too complicated, but the bittorent file system was a pain in the ass!

I just edited the section about Theta.tv. you can also earn tfuel without actually watching a stream, by letting your PC do "caching/computing" work in the node. So more free/easy money within the theta environment

I recently had my first excursion into meme coins. I bought £100 worth of ElonGate whilst there was only 14,000 holders. I sold off a good portion of it yesterday for £2000 and left £1000 in it in case it has more room for growth.

Hows everyone's bags doing on the opening of May??

Edit: Uniswap V3 is supposed to drop May 5th! Big exciting news for anyone using Uniswap's liquidity pools... now you can in essence, leverage your liquidity by setting price ranges to concentrate your liquidity into. Will be big $$ to be made there!

And anyone who bought into BTC around the 47-48k mark last week should be sitting pretty rn, ESPECIALLY if they had any leveraged longs or futures contracts! Hopefully we have big things coming in May!

"Gonna end up being a buy the rumor sell the news type deal would be my guess... but wouldn't be surprised to see it hit .75 or higher from now till then"

    Man... this aged well xD

Likely to see the correction continue into Monday. The harder it corrects, the higher I'd expect to see the price go once it gets back to pumping

Edit: accidentally edited this post instead of quoting it... oh well. The important bit is the quote I was talking about aging well. Called the Doge dump.

I got doge coin the other day at 0.53 fully expecting to double my investment when it hits a dollar lol

    time will tell!

The long term prospects are super weird tho. Even if the big doge owners sell, couldn't all the peasants buy those shares up in pieces and raise the value back up ?

In theory... but that 1$ price point is a major looming factor. It's been THE price everyone has in their head. Just as much as it's a "goal", it's also a limitation.

If big money sells off 100s of millions in DOGE at say .90, do you think retail will buy it up? Would they look at a possible 10% gains as worth while as the price is dumping? I mean, im sure SOME will, but buying tops and selling dips isn't exactly smart investing lol.

Edit: but to be fair, I didn't even think we'd see all the action on DOGE we have now. After the first pump and dump, I told everyone that was the end, no reason to invest, etc etc. Could be wrong again, and doge could end up at 10$ by next bull cycle... its so speculative almost anything could happen. I just try to air on the side of caution/conservativism

    Man... this aged well xD

Likely to see the correction continue into Monday. The harder it corrects, the higher I'd expect to see the price go once it gets back to pumping

Edit: accidentally edited this post instead of quoting it... oh well. The important bit is the quote I was talking about aging well. Called the Doge dump.

    Laughingman91 [2044206]

I got doge coin the other day at 0.53 fully expecting to double my investment when it hits a dollar lol

    time will tell!

The long term prospects are super weird tho. Even if the big doge owners sell, couldn't all the peasants buy those shares up in pieces and raise the value back up ?

    Blunt [2076337]

Yeah i'm much the same - don't bet what you can't afford to lose approach.
But since GME I think there's more awareness of what could be gained, and "what you could be a part of", and the entry barriers and stuff.
GME was my main inspiration for getting involved in DOGE lol I never in 100 lifetimes would've expected that.

It's good to hear the same ideas ive imagined coming from someone who actually knows their stuff lol.
I'd love to imagine $10 - that's a price DOGE fans would hype for with the SNL hype for sure.
But I've seen on social media a greater amount of nay sayers tbh.

    https://dailyhodl.com/2021/05/07/cardano-creator-says-dogecoin-is-existential-threat-to-crypto-space/amp/

Good read on Charles Hoskinson's view on DOGE

    The most important excerpt:

“And if you look at the distribution of the coin, over 90% of the holdings are held by less than 1% of the participants, so at any time, a cascading failure can happen, and the people who are selling are always in the money, so whether they sell DOGE at $0.60 or $0.01, they make a huge profit, and that’s a very bad situation to be in.

So catastrophic failure is the most likely outcome here, as people with wildly unrealistic expectations and very limited experience investing acquire these assets, and then once the failure occurs, their opinion of the entire industry will be the same as Bill Maher’s, the same as a lot of people in the mainstream, like Charlie Munger.”

Basically a statement on how, with nothing actually backing DOGE other than greed and ignorance of crypto as a whole and what it actually is... a lot of people are set to lose a lot of money and be sore af about it when it happens.

And I could very well see it playing out in exactly that way. It's taken years for crypto to get to where it is now. I didn't even get in until this cycle... but I actually believe in the companies and the technology behind it all. For those who don't, and lose money in a massive pump/dump, it'll create a media frenzy, followed by massive negative sentiment, and regulation that will kill crypto for the retail investor much like has been done with traditional markets.

    Blunt [2076337]

Can't hate on that portfolio at all... thats like THE standard.

Just curious if you stake your ADA? And do you use your BNB on the binance exchange at all, or just hold for long term gains?

Can't bring myself to get into DOGE, especially after all the pumps. I'm sure it will keep going... but id just rather invest that $$ into something else. Who knows though,, maybe if there is a massive dip at some point in the next few weeks I may just say "F it" and throw some money into it

    undertheradar [1882662]

    Blunt [2076337]

Did you buy it? It's done a 10x since you got it. For real though this is my philosophy - if none crypto people start talking about buying it, it's time to sell.

Woot found a threat I like. I've been in crypto since 2016... Such an amazing space! I focus on micro cap coins, with strong development teams - looking to get to get the 1000x! Broadly successful to date. My big bags - PIVX (outstanding development and technology); Zenzo (great niche and very low market cap); MYST (another v interesting niche with a working product and teeny tiny market cap). PS. Please stay away from doge and hype... It will just get you burnt
