Not anymore but for like 4 years we took care of a horse ( His owners are military and got called to service and yeah you can't bring your horse with yah onto a military base lol)
I have no idea if Stormy is still alive once the owners returned they promptly sold Stormy, bit of a sore thought considering we'd pay out of pocket for the horse for that four years.
Considering he's horse if he's received good care he should still be alive, he's brown with white markings. He's a rescue and was nearly starved to death with his first home. So he's a manic when it comes to food/treats eats like a pig. Apple's are his favorite thing to have.
When ever we'd drive into the property to care for him, he'd come running through his pasture keeping to the side of our vehicle then would push off in the last 50 feet or so winning the race LOL ( his fence was between us he run on his side of the fence while we drove. )
I was raised on a horse farm. We had Arabians and rode English. I haven't ridden in years. My husband and I decided to spend our money on vacations and traveling instead of hobby farms even though I miss it. Horses are such a huge commitment and expense.
I started riding when I was 8 so I've been doing it for almost 20 years soon.. it's such a dear hobby (or more like a lifestyle!) that has kept me going through hard times in life. Without horses, I don't even know where I would be today. Atm I ride my friends horses and I love showjumping. Once I can buy my own horse, I would love to try eventing and maybe compete again.
