No matter how hard I try, we don't look "neat" unless for sushi. Why?

I'm not sure, all I can say it's definitely you, since Asian food is awesome.

I guess with a lot of Asian food it depends really on the sauces, for instance some sauces need sugar, and if you don't put enough it might look bland, but it really depends on what kind of plates you are talking about.

It depends. Some 5stars Asian restaurants are really fancy but you have to pay more to eat the one you saw in common.

    Correction.

There are 2 types of fine dine in my country. Family fine dine and Non family fine.

To be visually appealing, the food needs to be minimalist. But the family fine dine is to feed 5-6 ppl. So yeah lol

I think it really just depends on plating or like how artsy the one cooking is. It takes much practice I think.

I don't care how it looks, more often than not the places that make it visually appealing offer very small portions to do that.

Je sais que c'est triste mais je suis sous hypnose~

Indian food usually looks, shall we say, less than appealing (My wife is from New Delhi), but is very tasty. I guess it depends on if you're looking for taste or presentation.

I've gotta disagree. It may not be "neat" but I think Asian food looks amazing! Colors, textures, silky sauces. I mean, OMG. Who's fingers don't twitch thinking about dragging a hot piece of naan through a thick curry?

chinese food got some more daily neat dish, but before u eat u gotta mix things up to make it delicious lol.

to make things goodlooking, they got some thing like sculpture made from vegetable or tofu or sth, u can imagine a dragon or phoenix made from carrot or radish, though u won't eat it or even pay for it, those things are mainly for weddings or important birthdays(some birthday are more important than the others) or meetings
