So this is my first forum thread but I like food and drink recipes and want a place to share them, I figure I will start with a family drink recipes that is similar to a Tom Collins but without gin for people like my mom who aren't big fans of gin or just want their drink to be a bit on the sweet side.

First you'll get a tall glass and pour just a shot or two of coconut rum

Followed by filling most of the glass with 7UP or sprite, then add a cherry along with a modest amount of cherry juice and stir lightly to mix the juice in

This drink is pretty tasty and sweet, good if your someone who doesn't like strong alcohol tasting drinks or if your like me a lightweight and can't drink a lot to begin with then this is a good drink

Well that's my first idea I have to share and would love feedback if you'd like it let me know if you try making this yourself and how it went.

Hmm maybe that recipe will take me a couple of years to accomplish, mostly because my money is designated to non alcoholic things..

Anyways i would suggest a marinade for beef before you cook them.. cooking wine, lime soda, half a lemon, garlic, black pepper.  Just add as many as you want to, if you think its enough. Then after 2 hours, stir fry in, onion, leak, ginger then add some bellpepper and carrots. You can add a little bit of the marinade  and some flour or cornstarch to make the dish look saucy
