Hi all,

So I adopted a recipe I found to make sausage rolls, some items may seem strange but they are a great combo, they go great with a good BBQ sauce.

1 roast chicken (broken up and cut/shredded into small pieces)
1 onion browned (finely diced)
3 rashes of bacon just cooked down (finely diced)
3 large field mushrooms finely chopped and sautéed
handful of slivered almonds browned in the oven the smash up
small tub of sour cream
handful of chives finely diced
good sized handful of grated mozzarella cheese

combine it all once the cooked items have cooled. Using puff pastry roll out and cut up. Some egg wash on top with sesame seeds and cook till golden brown.

(as long as no one has a nut allergy) Take this to a gathering/morning tea and dont tell people whats in them, people are very surprised about the almonds once you tell them.
