Servings: 1 or 2 (1 if you don't like sharing).
Prep Time: 5 minutes or less.
Cook Time: 10 to 15 minutes (depending on noodles used).
Ingredients:
• 4 cups of warm water.
• 2 1/2 tsp sesame seed oil.
• 4 tsp chicken bouillon powder.
• 2tsp hot chili oil (if you want milder, do 1tsp).
• 3 tsp sugar.
• 4 tbsp kimchi.
• 2 eggs.
• 1 or 2 servings of noodles (any ramon works or spaghetti as a substitute, I've used vermicelli noodles as My ramon substitute).
Step 1: Bring 4 cups of warm water in a pot and set on high to boil.
Step 2: Season water with 4tps of chicken bouillon and mix (add more or less powder to your liking when tasting your broth).
Step 3: Add 1 or 2 tsp of hot chili oil (again, add more or less and taste to your liking).
Step 4: Add 3 tsp of sugar (more or less if-
-you like sweet or savory broth).
Step 5: Bring water back to a boil and add your noodles and set recommended time to cook your noodles (or cook to your preferred tenderness).
Step 6: When you've finally cooked your noodles in the broth, leave your stove top on high and add 4tbsp of kimchi (or less if you don't like strong kimchi).
Step 7: Crack 2 eggs and drop into noodle soup and cook for 4 minutes on high. Place a lid on pot to assure your eggs get poached properly (I know this is a barbaric way to poach eggs, but it's delicious this way).
Step 8: When your eggs and kimchi are cooked, turn the stove top off, and serve in your favorite ramon bowl or any medium or large sized bowl.
And as the French say: "Bone Apple Teat"!!!
