    I love to make what I call a "North Pole."

    Ingredients:

    1 Measure of Peppermint Schnapps
    1 Measure of Baileys Irish Cream
    1 Candy Cane
    Whipped Cream
    Hot Chocolate

    Snap off the curved section of candy cane, and crush into dust/flakes. Make the hot chocolate and mix in liquor when still boiling. Top with Whipped Cream. Sprinkle candy dust on top of whipped cream, and skewer whipped cream with straight section of Candy Cane.

    Alternative liquors: Kahlua, Whisky, Allan's Coffee Brandy

    this one is more Valentine's but
    rim coup glass with chocolate syrup
    add ice to shaker
    1 Oz bailey's
    0.5 Oz raspberry vodka
    0.5 oz Red sour puss
    5 Oz milk

    Shake till frothy
    pour and garnish with a chocolate covered strawberry

    i know it sounds weird but its ODDLY good

    In a somewhat related topic, I once had a coworker that wasn't raised in North America or Europe.

    At work, we were talking about our favorite drinks, and someone mentioned Irish Coffee, which this coworker was not familiar with.

    I told this coworker as a general rule, if a beverage says it's Irish, it's mean there's alcohol in it.

    For some reason, this blew up my coworker's mind.

    I do like adding Kahlua to non alcoholic egg nog, so I guess that's a winter drink.

    Wish egg nog was available year round, but them's the breaks.
