I just got out of college and I want to know: what was your personal favorite of school food now if I’m being honest they all were equally sh**.

I'm a freshman in college now, at my school we have several on campus spots for eating. One main cafeteria which is operated by Aramark but we do have several on campus alternative eating places such as Dominoes, In-N-Out burgers, Del Taco, Halalz,Baja fresh, Ace Sushi, panda Express.. etc. .etc...BUT for me despite all of those, i agree with you and i prefer my Mother's home cooked meals when she brings out to me.

Sausage chips and beans were the best days, we had that Mon-Fri.

I usually brought my own lunch to school. However, I would probably say mac & cheese for elementary, since the box drinks aren't a food, and the classic chip snacks, like doritos, for middle/high school.
