Going off of personal experience, Waffles is just a better pick over pancakes. I've only had homemade pancakes and they are good, but compared to IHop Waffles they are just way better on every level.

i love both
to be more accurate its focused more on the pairing toppings or other stuff

you could put mangos, pineapples and chunkier fruits on the waffle grids if they're big enough and bananas and chocolate on pancakes and more

limitless combinations and thats why i love both

Pancake mix isn't proper and you will go straight to the bottom of hell if you use it
