I want to buy around 30kg of white rice to store for the winter. However, I'm afraid of it having larvae eggs in it that will hatch and ruin it. Do you have any tips how to "decontaminate/sterilize" store-bought rice before storing it? I plan to store it in glass jars.

air tight n keep your hands out of it. sterilise the bottles by boiling them first, we just use a airtight container at home plastic n never have any issues with storing it for ages.
