Today for lunch, I hauled up to the local haunt McDonalds set on ordering a Big Mac, but you know what? I saw that Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich on the crisp bright LED menu board, and decided to order it. I like me some heat, but only with my women and my chicken sandwiches.
Wow. The price was right. Just $3.69. I figured I'd be getting the minced McChicken "spicy" slider sandwich variety, but I was wrong.
I got a decent sized-sandwich, the chicken patty was juicy and fresh. The bun was soft and fresh as well. The sauce was just right, and the pickles added a nice amount of tang to the spice and juiciness of the sandwich. I was impressed. The spice was more than I expected for a McDonald's sandwich. It's exactly what I was hoping for. The sauce was spicy as well, but did not overwhelm the patty and added some extra bite to the bark of the advertisement of the crisp, clean, high resolution screen that convinced me on a whim to purchase the sandwich whilst I was hungry and willing to be convinced to eat just about anything during the lunchtime hour.
Overall I rate this sandwich as a 9.2/10. My only complaint, and it is a stretch to complain about this sandwich, is that the bulk of the flavor in the chicken was the spice itself and nothing else. It was flavorful and juicy as far as spicy chicken patties go, but I was hoping for a dash of pepper or something else too. I would definitely order this sandwich again.

It’s true I like the cheaper mcchickens as well. They are so good.
Really? Those are such garbage... they're made from pressed and molded bits of chicken and battered. I mean, they work in a pinch, and are cheap, but I'd prefer to pay a couple more bucks for a much higher quality sandwich.
