I got a dehydrator this week and I have some beef marinating to make jerky (one is sweet cherry, mmm), and have learned about other stuff like "cauliflower popcorn" to make.

So what's your favorite dehydrator snacks? I'd love to hear them and maybe give making them a try!

I ve only used a dehydrator twice, drying berries then grinding them and nto powder to mix into sherbet. And then I dried pigs ears for the dog...true story.

Have done all of the above at one time or another. But beef jerky is far and away my fave.

I would suggest trying fruit leather as opposed to just drying the fruit. Adds a bit of processing time but, when done correctly, it's mindblowingly great.

I've seen recipes for fruit leather, I'll definitely try them! And sherbet.... That's a really good sounding idea in this heat wave.

The jerky is so good, omg. I didn't realize how salty store stuff was!
