    I enjoy the old fashioned or cake donuts the best but am also a fan of the Apple fritters and chocolate twists! Blueberry cake donuts are my all time favorite unless I find a place that does red velvet cake donuts!

    If given a powdered donut, even custard filled....I will slowly lick the powder off maintaining constant eye contact.

    The absolute best donut I've ever had was from this baker in Cumberland, BC.  A small former mining town in the foothills of Strathcona Park, Vancouver Island Canada.

    You'd either have to pre order, or get there at the mystical time of opening.

    These were just plain, donuts with a slight glazing.

    The other was this donut I had a few times in Germany back around '71.  Sorry, nothing more to add, just remember craving this donut, but have no recollection of what it looked like.  It was a filled donut.
