    We all love a BLT, unless you are a veggie, in which case you crave one...

    But, what does lettuce bring apart from the letter L?

    Sod that, start ordering a BMT, as that's all you want. Bacon, mayo and tomato...

    Agreed. **** the roughage.

    A quality thick cut bacon, and a real ****ing tomato. Some of the mass grown ones at the market these days have very little flavor.

    And lots of fresh cracked pepper.

    very true.  The best tomato is a home grown one, with a hot summer and heritage seeds.

    As for BLT, BELTs are good too.

    If a lettuce like romaine is used, it adds a bitter aspect which helps balance the richness of the bacon and mayo

     Other greens like arugula or spicy mustard greens can add even more flavor.
