Just googled Bahn bo since I never heard of it and it looks amazing, reminds me a bit of a thing my Indonesian grandfather used to make, we called it spekkoek. I can never get enough of it!

Fairly self explanatory, delicious, national treasures yet they seem to freak out many, it's not like I'm explaining what black pudding is, this stuff is normal, accept it's magnificence!

I like canned sardines... in oil is my favorite. (Is that weird?)

Banana sandwiches are also a favorite... mashed up banana and mayo on soft white bread.
have you tried the mashed banana with peanut butter?

    Have a Great Day!

I usually just slice the banana long wise and put them on top of the peanut butter... no mayo, lol.

Eggs and soldiers, never heard it called that but I had the eggs in a similar way where it was atill in the shell and yolky (is that a word) in the center with toast.

I prefered toad in a hole because there was no shell.

The whole concept of beans for breakfast leaves me thinking you must toot all day lol.

I am convinced sticky rice is good anyway it is made, with mango, coconut milk, sesame seeds. It goes with everything.

Yolky is one way of putting it haha I always went with "gooey" but yea, whenever I'm under the weather I'll always have egg+soldiers, it was my childhood haha.

toad in the hole deserves a class of it's own, when loaded up with veg, mash + gravy it's basically a roast dinner pizza xD

Tinned Chilli Mackerel á la tat

    • Gotta broil/grill the bread on an overhead grill, or a sandwich press, no toasters here. ~
    • Lowest heat to dry out the bread, you wanna give it as little colour as possible. Or leave it in the hot sun for a few.
      - optional - take a fork and smish the bread flattened to make a depression
    • Crack the tin and tip the excess oil onto the dehydrated bread, it's a little time waster but it's worth it for dem omega 3.
    • Distribute the fish evenly on the toasts, and turn the heat up to a crack below maximum firepower, you gotta be able to turn down the gas and hear the fish sizzling, cause you want it heated thru for stomach purposes. Approx 3 or 4 minutes.
    • You can let the toast go a little bit black around the edges to achieve the finished product, we're not looking for idealised perfection, we're looking to embrace reality with all it's flaws - the carbon adds a bitter realness to this snack
slightly salty, slightly spicy, slightly crispy and crunchy, slightly greasy, and slightly chewy.
Don't eat it after 10pm though or it won't digest so good probably, and you'll have to inhale fish smell while you fall asleep.

I'm stumped, this is my first encounter with "this" kind of toad in the hole, not what I imagined and I'd be terrified to try that with mash+gravy haha... Reminds me of eggy-bread/french toast but without soaking the bread in the egg.

^ That's what I was thinking of, Yorkshire pudding (British pancake batter) loaded with sausages and baked. If you can't be arsed to cook a full roast on Sunday this would be the cheat alternative.

I used to eat lunch with a girl who would eat tuna on apples

all that was in the tuna was the oil it came in and she put peanuts in it too

I guess I do have a weird tuna thing, I use cottage cheese and a tiny amount of mayo so it up's the protien and has less fat from mayo.

I also like yellow curry powder in my tuna.

One of my favourite things to eat for breakfast is boiled eggs, tuna ans rice. My family thinks it's weird but I swear it's delicious. Currently I'm obsessed with ginger and garlic so I probably over do it when making my tuna.

Even though I love traditional breakfast foods they don't give me the energy and fullness I need to last to lunch.

    Yes, I'm mental.

    No, it's okay.

Not sure if it counts as snacks, its more like a breakfast for me. When I was a kid, I used to dip the bread into the curry noodle's soup (the curry) and eat. Fyi, my bread is applied with honey and have cheese in it :D

    Its so delicious!
