Given that the weather's going to get warmer for summer, I'd say something like berries and cream might be the way to go--no baking, so no heat generated. It's tasty and it looks pretty too! :)

Something like a Lava Cake is really good and fancy, just takes a shit load of preparing and usually a pain in the ass to make. I don't eat much desserts but that's probably the thing I would order at a restaurant if I did. If all else fails buy some candy at the store.

It's basically a custard pie and it is fantastic. It takes some time but it comes out looking wonderful and tastes like pure love. -

Plus it usually impresses the person you are making it for.

Posted on 09:13:20 - 24/07/16 (8 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkI am always being asked to make my oreo dessert. I just call it oreo cream. It is very easy and fun to make.
1- Family pack of oreos (I put them in a gallon zip-lock bag and smash with a hammer)
2- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
3- 1 large tub of cool-whip
4- 5-6 drops of vanilla
Mix everything together and freeze overnight. During the holidays I add a box of Little Debbie soft ginger bread cookies to it to give it that Christmasy taste.Last edited by DarkMark66 on 09:13:54 - 24/07/16 (8 years ago) -

Else we have two a little more advanced.
Cream caramel (it's like cream brulee but different >:) no need for that burner)
Pannacotta (this is good if you make it right, but not so good if you make it wrong.... obvi)Sometimes I talk until I don't know what I'm talking about anymore
I'd like to thank Google translate for making this post possible

Posted on 16:18:52 - 02/08/16 (8 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkI made chocolate that had carmel and walnuts. Basically got walnut put them in a magic bullet blender and shredded them the way I wanted them. Then i put them aside . And i melted carmel in a pot, as soon as it was all melted i put the nut mixture into the carmel and stirred. Till it look like you can scoop them up and make them into what ever shape you want them. I just stuck with a circle shape. And i put them on wax paper. And i let them cool and spread out a bit. And i put them in the fringe to harden or you can put them in the freezer to make it go quicker but dont leave it in there for to long. When that done. Use any chocolate you want. For mine i used dark chocolate, for half of them and the other half milk chocolate. Get a pot of boiling water and get anothet pot to sit on top put your chocolate in there with some butter and stir till melted. And the you dip the carmel nut mixture and put it back on the wax paper . Let it set for a bit and put it in the fridge . To let the chocolate harden more. Also if you want a quicker way of melting chocolate get a bowel put your chocolate in there with some butter and put it in the microwave. Make sure you keep checking it and stiring it. If its still to thick and chunky and some more butter. Just a little bit and stir. If it still looks like that you add a little bit more.

Posted on 12:41:26 - 05/08/16 (8 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkThis is one of my favorite summer desserts to make, that an old neighbor always made, and now is my go-to when I want a solid dessert kudo. It's citrus-sweet and soft and light, with just a bit of a delicious pudding at the bottom. It can be made in advance, is pretty easy if you're comfortable with things like whipping egg whites, and no one has ever had it elsewhere, so it impresses just for that bit of uniqueness.

Posted on 05:48:23 - 23/08/16 (8 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkI love chocolate and caramel, I'm not a huge fan of nuts though. Of course there are always exceptions, I do like peanuts, cashews and pistachios. Peanuts would probably be the one I would go with if I was going to make this. What am I saying? I have made this before, lol. What are they called? I think they are called turtles when u use the walnuts like you did. Pretzel pieces would probably be really good in it too. It is very easy to burn the chocolate in the microwave so I usually use the stove-top method. I have been making muddy-buddies (puppy-chow) ever sense I was a little kid and I burned the chocolate and peanut butter more than once. I still ate it though (I was a fat little kid, lol).
