Nearly killed myself with that stuff when I was younger and talked more about limits than understood them. Even now vivid memories of messy bed sheets and bathroom walls looking like a crime scene comes to mind. -

Posted on 06:11:15 - 23/08/16 (8 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkHow did you cut your teeth? Were you biting the bottle? No, that still doesn't make sense. Is it an expression? I have never heard it b4. I'm not trying to b a smart ass I am genuinely curious. -
Posted on 19:04:51 - 23/08/16 (8 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkCutting your teeth is an expression that means to start doing something or your first experiences with something, particularly before you get good at it or know what you are doing. I think it references when a baby cuts it's teeth by chewing on things, thus preparing it for eating and whatnot.
I know it is not a common saying, maybe it is an East coast thing lol. -

I was originally from D.C. (well Alexandria actually) and yeah I remember hearing it as a little kid now. Cool thanks.
