    soaked lemon cake

    poptops's Lemon Syrup Drizzle Cake (http://www.torn.com/forums.php#/p=treads&f=54&t=15911305&b=0&a=0)
    gave me an idea for my own soaked lemon cake. I decided to bake mine in a loaf tin.

    I made several holes in the cake with a skewer, going right to the bottom of the tin
    and then poured on the hot syrup all over the cake to let it seep through the holes to give it a rich citrusy taste.
