    Who here believes that aliens interacted with earth a lot before we developed any stable means of documentation. And that they might be the root of all religions…

    Meaningful evidence does not exist to support this in the way you seem to be imagining it. I think if this is true in any way, then it’s probably via the simulation hypothesis.

    Given the length of time civilizations appear to exist and the speed with which we advance to being able to build powerful simulations, it may be unlikely that we are in base reality.

    well technically if a god exists we would call it alien as alien is broad meaning, sometimes meaning foreigner, person not of this land, being that is different to us, a unknown thing, a thing we fail to understand.

    If aliens are out there, you can bet they struggle with the same spiritual matters we do. Spiritual matters exist partly because the questions involved are impossible to answer scientifically.

     

    Not "we don't have the data yet."

    More "we will never answer this with a microscope due to hard limits of reality".

Aaaaaand I seem to recall science also proving our DNA sequences have some kind of old edit or alteration. 

     

    This is a surreal rabbit hole and I have been down it.
