What do you define "being a Furry" as. (Given you clearly have a different definition to most of the responders here).

Do you think anthropomorphized cartoon animals animals seen in childhood might have influenced someone becoming a furry later on in life?

    Yes, I'm mental.

    No, it's okay.

I wonder why so few people identify as anthropomorphized cars, when the transformers became such a big franchise. Heck, the 'cars' Disney movies too.

Then again, I DO remember quite a few players identifying as helicopters leading upto the ENBY changes, so maybe we do have a significant transformy community!

Transformy doesn't seem like it would be the name...

    AutoBobs/AutoBridgets?

    CarTrannys?

Well Cars is only one movie. I can't really think of any other peace of animation with talking vehicles except Jay Jay the Jet Plane.

There are several shows with animal main characters. Way too many to list. I have wondered if that had an impact on Furries.

I don't even understand what you just said but no,I wouldn't let my kid play with a talking car without a background check and a few references.

Edit: But seriously, I think we might be derailing OP. And I'm curious to know if cartoons had an effect.

I’ve known furries IRL. Dressed in the thousand-dollar fur suits and the whole nine yards. They are often socially awkward or people with social disorders such as Asperger’s.

Not a single damn one of them has been nearly as toxic as the type of people that shit on them.

Almost always, if you’re jumping on a bandwagon to shit on, make fun of or otherwise harm a group of people widely seen as unpopular, you’re doing it because you either consciously or subconsciously are insecure about your own status and that’s kind of sad.

Radicalized feminist weeb. Fite me IRL fascists

You replied to a question that was meant for the OP in a thread called "I'm a furry, ask me questions"; that makes you a furry. No kinkshame from me, though.

Yeah everyone in here is just making fun of OP for no reason. I haven't seen any responses that are "lol worthy", so not sure why people are flaming like this.
Mommy goat isn't even being weird like that one guy (the "bares bloody fangs" guy). I'm still kinda upset mama goaty hasn't answered my question about undertale.

What dym? I don’t commission I only draw myself, I do not draw 18+ so do not say that type of things, I’ve only JUST turned 18
How many horny guys have hit you up so far because of this and, more importantly, how is your NW still so low, or is it going to go up drastically at new day?

Seriously though, I strongly recommend not posting that you're a female who just turned 18 unless you're really a 45yo overweight dude who's catfishing.

But, anyway, like someone else asked... what is your definition of "being a furry"?

Calling people weird just because they Identify as a helicopter.

Stop judging them, their personal choice of how they want to identify doesn't affect you.

Calling them weird because of how they choose to identify is being antagonistic to them because they subscribe to a particular group, the literal definition of bigotry.

I'm so disappointed in you Mommy.
