Well Cars is only one movie. I can't really think of any other peace of animation with talking vehicles except Jay Jay the Jet Plane. There are several shows with animal main characters. Way too many to list. I have wondered if that had an impact on Furries.

I’ve known furries IRL. Dressed in the thousand-dollar fur suits and the whole nine yards. They are often socially awkward or people with social disorders such as Asperger’s. Not a single damn one of them has been nearly as toxic as the type of people that shit on them. Almost always, if you’re jumping on a bandwagon to shit on, make fun of or otherwise harm a group of people widely seen as unpopular, you’re doing it because you either consciously or subconsciously are insecure about your own status and that’s kind of sad.
