I've seen this game on the shelves of a few of the gaming stores in my area. I heard it's similar to Terraforming Mars. I've been debating on whether or not to pick a copy up.

Pandemic: Legacy is SO much fun, you change the board and add to the rules and rip up game pieces and shit as you go, every round you're opening up this little advent calendar of new mechanics and plot twists etc
This War of Mine is a surprisingly cool board game, much harder than the video game it's based on. comes with a book (or an app) full of plot snippets that you're prompted to read from at certain points, so it's like a choose your own adventure story except most of the endings are bad heheh -

The Arkham Horror card game is by far my favorite board game. It's co-op vs the Evils of the Cthulu universe, and has near endless replay ability through its multiple stories, and even some great fan made campaigns

If you have a group of friends, then I think "BANG!" is a lot of fun.
The Quacks of Quedlinburg is well worth a look. -

Definitely ludo and carrom. The board games that I grew up with. They're super famous in my country. Though I never get to share my love for them online as almost nobody has ever even heard of them. Joy :")

Go
This documentary got me into it.
AlphaGo Trailer
You can watch the full documentary HERE
From there it was all over. I’ve bought my own board and play with my boys. I take it on all of our family vacations and my father in law and I play. Great game.
On my phone (iPhone) I’ve been playing Badukpop (Go)
If anyone plays hit me up I would love to make friends to play against and learn from. -

Spirit island. Over 100 plays and I'll happily play 100 more.

I got this board game years ago and I liked it a lot. Elixir of Life. Where you are a wizard and are playing against other wizard moving around the board and have to avoid being mugged by thugs and have to go around to the shops to buy ingrediants to make a potion. Where there are plenty of differnt potions you have to brew all threee elixirs of life to win the game.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I've played Seven Wonders quite a few times with some board game nerd friends I have. It's pretty chill and approachable to people that aren't entirely down the board game rabbit hole.

D&D boardgame series are decent but we most collect 'em for the minis. Cheap way to get nice minis -

Doomlings
Mysterium
Forbidden Island
I'm definitely forgetting some favs at the moment - will probably come back to edit :) -
