Hello everyone.
Anyone on here own a Seat leon FR (estate) DSG 2.0 tsi?
It’s an amazing car yes ! Although I do wish I purchased the hatchback instead. Just a quick question as I wanted to know if it’s a common problem. As soon as I hit 80 mph + there is a light vibration. Bare in mind that the car has less thank 10k miles on it. I tried everything. I got tracking done. Changed the tyres around. Went down up from 17 inch to 19 inch alloy wheels mostly for cosmetics and then went back down to 18 inch. The vibration only kicks in bang on at 80pmh. Took it to suspensions specialists and even the dealership itself said they couldn’t find anything abnormal. Being a car guy I have driven almost all the VW vehicles in almost all variants from early 2000 to current date. I have never experienced it. It’s just a small vibration coming from the footwell but being a car guy you notice these small things. Anyone else experienced this on this exact model ? Also would installing a dog bone mount possibly help ?Last edited by Larten_Crepsley on 22:53:51 - 12/01/22 -

Could be something loose/vibrating due to wind.
Undertrays? Something under the bonnet? -

As a previous poster said, maybe the undertray has dislodged slightly?
I had a 2003 Fabia that had a loose tray and as soon as I hit 80 the car would vibrate differently and also make a loud banging noise. Although the noise was because the tray was clinging on by a few rivets lol
Hope you get it sorted. I only drive high mileage bangers so encounter all kinds of quirks, cant imagine how frustrating it is on a new car. Were you expecting a picture or something?

I don't blame you at all, my fiancé has a 2013 Fiesta 5 speed and she loves the car but we have had so much trouble with the brakes. I've spent almost $1,000 trying to figure out what's going on with the brakes. Definitely has me wanting to sell it and get something different.
