So what has been everyone's pride & joy or their ride from hell?

My favorite owned car has been my Skoda Fabia 1.9 SDI. Bullet proof engine & body, just a shame that previous owners hadn't looked after it properly. Sadly scrapped with brake pipe/master cylinder wear as well as a rotten chassis.

Worst has to be my current Vauxhall Combo D series 1.3 cdti. It has a solid body, smooth-ish drive and good cargo space, just sadly let down by its weak engine and my particular van has been problematic with faults from the ECU, wiring and other components/

My "best and worst" was the Alfa Romeo GT. Beautiful blue color, incredible driving experience but engine and electrical... pffff had it parked more in the service than in my yard. :-))

Best overall, my current Audi A6. Few problems, incredibly nice to drive, powerful, good looking.

Alfas look slick but I see them very often broken down at the roadside, and have heard a few horror stories about the engine faults!

Favorite car is my 1996 miata... it's my one more thing and I swear I'm done working on it, car.

The worst car... is a toss up, either the 2002 dodge neon I bought for 200$ head cracked a week later, or my current winter beater, a 2016 Nissan versa

Tyota corrola hatchback diesel 2005 - drove this baby up a mountain. Crashed it multiple times. Had it submerged in water (river burst its bank while at a wedding) and it still went for me.

It was an easy to fix car (sometimes had to do this on side of the road. Was sad to have to sell it. To my knowledge its still on the road to this very day.

I'd love an old Corolla, still see many around my area going strong. All the farmers round here use old Toyotas that are outlasting modern vehicles at a crazy rate.

my best is my 91 jeep cherokee. Love them old jeeps.
worst vehicle I ever owned was a 1 lady owned 98 buick grand regal that was always babbied. had a 3.8 super charged engine, got on it a little after a few days of buying it passed the car getting on the high way heard a faint noise and felt something in the pedal, got it home couldnt figure out why it had a slight stutter.

Two days later broke out the inspection camera and saw a small hole in the piston lol.

Would love a Buick Regal, but being in the UK Im looking at thousands in dosh to import, tax and insure

They only have the newer, city driver kind of Jeeps here, dont think they'll ever overtake the UK Landrover scene!

One of my best cars (don't laugh) was a 98 Dodge Neon. Reasonably quick, good handling, lots of them in junkyards and lots of interchangeable parts from other models. Could also be worst since they are interference engines prone to timing issues. Also blew lots of head gaskets and it was cheaper to replace the engine rather than fix it.

Also a close contender for best is my 2012 Ford Focus Titanium. I've been rather impressed with it honestly, I really was not expecting much.

I've been in a few of them that had pulley upgrades and some minor headwork. a 06-07 GT and i think they call them the first gens the 98 models. the 98 had about 280-320hp. it was insanley quick. guy sold it and within two weeks guy called him back laughing said he broke the rear shock tower on the car because he floored it really hard one time coming out of his driveway.

no they probably wont overtake the landrover scene over there. However if you were over here you would see nothing but lifted or built jeeps for overland or offroading, not to many "street" driven jeeps in my town.

Ive always wanted a 80-90s landrover love the square style.

I see a lot of the old Series 2 and 3 Landrovers lately, probably yuppies that have sold a kidney to get one lol
