I had to cease work on my MR2 due to picking up a boat project about 2 months ago. Since getting that thing all fixed up and going I've been spending all my free time fishing! I really need to finish up the last of the body work on my car so I can get to painting and driving it more.

I also managed to crack my perfect oem windshield while removing it. :(

    -Shady [2467229]

Visited my new project car and it's ready to be picked up at the end of the month :))
    Getting everything ready for pickup.
Has surprisingly almost no rust so I guess this car was stored in a closed shed or garage.
It's in a fully original state except some exterior changes.

Don't know what they were expecting with the cheap sticker/wrap on the hood. Will have to remove that and look how damaged the paint is underneath( probably really damaged as the glue has penetrated the paint bc how dried out it is from the sun/heat).

Will also remove the shading from the rear window Wich has alot of air bubbles, don't know if this is because of the heating in there or bc it was a amateuristic job.
Will consult a wrapping company if this is possible with heated rear windows to put shading bc of heat shrinking and stretching.

First test-drive was really good, some vibrations on the steering wheel but probably one of the tires isn't inflated fully( hopefully). They will also put a new battery in there as the one in it isn't in good shape.

So far so good, a few attention points but no biggies(so far).
Will drive this car for a bit to get all the points come forward, and then move on to the build.

    Here she is:

Wont be updating for a while either.

So far the riding made it clear what has to be done.

Easy list; 1. New rims and tires + balancing.
    2. New brake discs and pads.
    3. New exhaust system( maybe ill just cheap out for now and only buy a different end tip instead of a full system).
    4. Full oil change( not immediatly needed but still highly important)
    5. Different airfilter plus installing the boost gauge i bought of GlowStick Gauges.

These things will be the easy part as i do them myself but money is really tight atm bc im moving to a new house next week and have to pay 3k in advance( bye bye sweet car parts :/).

The harder part will be the chipping and tuning but before i can start at that, i need the list above fully completed.

So far it drives like a beast, the only downside is it needs to balanced at the right front wheel.
And i had to replace the right window mechanism bc my girlfriend slammed the door shut really hard when the window was halfway open, breaking the mechanism fully inside( another damn setback, had to drive 30 km in the freezing morning with a fully open window).

But so far really pleased but the difference between the one i had before that was chipped is huge :0
Definitly gonna upgrade this beast when i have the funds and time :)))

I'm working on a 2005 yz85 right now. I just picked it up Wednesday for $1400. The motor is fine but literally everything else needs work. Bearings are shot, shift shaft is bent, sprockets look like they're about to snap, chain is way too tight, no free play, clutch doesn't fully engage, rotors are bent, brake pads are nonexistent, rims are bent, that's just getting started. Parts will be almost $1000.

On top of that, I want to do the super mini conversion, but that'll be another $1500, I may as well just sell it and buy a super mini :P

I'll post pictures when I have them.

    Another damn setback yesterday :(((

Had to replace all the sparkplugs and ignition coils bc it ran really shitty.

Runs like sunshine now, hopefully its done messing with me but probably not due to old age.

It's the middle of winter... project car is safe and sound in storage, away from the salt and snow... these are all I have to remember her by....

One of the last fall days before storage

Little photo shoot, only picture I really liked from the set

    Random cell phone love

And finally.... last project I was able to finish up before winter hit.

As it sits now: new clutch, LSD, boost guages and ECU are installed, brakes are first up this spring, then super charger for moar speeds!

Awesome to see car guys here. I had a 73 AMC Javelin amx that was a project. I got in a mental rut and sold the car, I had it for 15 yrs and it was just the to let it go. I'll buy a restored AMC one day. But... That empty space in the garage annoyed me so a year later (2019 )I found a minty 2015 torred dodge challenger hellcat with 1911 miles on it and bought it.
Can't figure out how to post a picture

Currently has stainless works long tube headers, catless midpipes, barton short throw shifter and a catch can. Covid really screwed the car upgrade project. I was saving up for go faster parts but lost my job in May 2020.

I just finished removing my windshield and and patching up the last of the rust holes on the roof.

Time to start doing some sanding and smoothing to prep for paint!

I've been distracted on working on a couple 4 wheelers I picked up for cheap and working on my buddies bass boat :P

Thanks, I've had a couple of these now. First one was t-boned and written off. I got it back from the insurance company and parted out. Took a year to find another one, haha. She's now a garage queen.

This is my 2008 Avalanche. It was bought bone stock in Sept. 2020. By 2021 I was able to drop 3 1/2 inches out of the front, 4 inches from the rear. I maintain stock 20" wheels and tire with no rub. I can still tow. And it rides as good as stock. The interior is cloth (unfortunately). But has seen a Phoenix audio tesla style tablet head unit installed. It has its own internet, TV, GPS, etc. Soon 2 12's will be hidden under the rear seat. And a set of black 5 or 6 spoke rims will be put on this summer. The images are attached as before/after.....what a stance!

    here's my neverending project,

1994 twin turbo 6sp supra running 375hp at the moment.
looking to buy a new set of ridox sideskirts and a fresh ridox front bumper,
once i have all the new bits i'll be sanding her down and get her ready for a dark midnight purple respray.
then once i financially recover i'll be tackling the engine department and slap on a single turbo and get her up to around 650hp

it's been a long process and it'll take many more years probably, but it's a real thrill to go out on a drive every single time!
can't wait for the weather to get better!

That's my project from 2 years ago, nearly perfect now, it would need a new proper paint job, but it's running flawlessly so I can't be bothered :)
